AGM65G Fire test

I made a test video for agm65g and we can see here that it is obviously badly implemented into the game. Warthunder AGM-65G Missile Test
I demand betterment of this missile.

you just lock into the ground… if you dont what it to happen actually aim them dont just eyeball it with the third person view

dare someone actually aim an AGM, ive never had an issue with AGM-65G’s from my experience using them in ASB with the AV-8B+

You know that i also tested it with the aimpod and exact same thing happened, i targeted moving and non moving targets, with thermal on and off… Gbu is just better.

Do you have a video showing the problem perhaps? I never really had issues with it.

GBUs are only maybe better or at least useful at closer ranges. At long standoff ranges (say 12k-15km away), laser GBUs are a whole lot less useful as they will just not acquire the laser at a sufficient range, though slight buffs are underway for next update.

As for Maverick in general, I have a bug report that at least aims to improve the flight performance of the missile, that obviously however does not affect this problem.

buddy, this is a you issue, use the optic, aim it into the tank lock and shoot , dont aim 20 meters away form the target, and it you are close enoght just wait for the tag track, then you will know for sure that it is actually tracking the target not the ground.

in the video they linked you can very clearly see that the IR/Optical lock is behind the tank

Yeah no that I know, it even says “POINT” (meaning ground lock) next to the missile in the weapon selector up left, so that video is obviously just user error.

But I was wondering if he had a video of him using it through a targeting pod, which apparently doesn’t work for him either, which is weird and likely also user error, but I can’t say without video.

the only way i could see not hitting when using a TGP is if he didnt stabilize it and just locked the ground and not the tank again
