Idk where you got that idea

Right… Just like the Su-57 low-observable.
For ‘some reason’ I don’t think they are operating on the same tech-level
Warhead is bigger on JASSM than Russian missiles, similar to Euro missiles and it’s unitary, so one big thing instead of 2 smaller ones that would probably have less TnTeq total.
AGM-158B (maybe C too?) has longer range than all of them. Can be carried in greater numbers
Very very likely has the most advanced stealth since it’s coming from the most stealth experienced country
For future reference, you don’t need a “i just want to see result” option in your poll, you can just press the “results” button to see it anyways.

Also editing the poll removes all votes, so I wouldn’t edit it either.
oh ok thanks
I’m sure there’s a German main somewhere being offended at this 🤣
Anyways, European cruise missiles exist beyond Storm Shadow/SCALP. Taurus being for the Germans and Swedes.
You clearly have a baised opinion and cant accept the fact that both are good weapons and both got shot down.
Unless you wanna have a simple good discussion. I will not be engaging to your comments
If it was really that stealthy. Why did a iranian buk or tor system shot it down ?
Just asking…
They need to add a way to choose which guidance a missile/bomb actually goes for. In the case of SLAM-ER an option to choose to fire using either IR or GPS would give it a much needed boost.
Currently it will only hit targets fired from within 40km. If fired from any further then the missile will just keep on going until it eventually de-spawns or runs out of guidance time. Even if they don’t give it LOAL being able to fire solely on GPS would still be a bonus.
Got lucky when the jassm got close
Yeah in my testing while it can fly a insane distance once it dives down for the terrain following that effectively breaks the LOS and the missile just ends up flying straight past the target in the straight line until it eventually self destructs
So at minimum gaijin needs to make the GPS behave as a proper fallback mode otherwise the terrain following on it just results in it not being usable
Adding the true LOAL via a GPS marker without LOS would be iffy though like i want it but i also dont want it to break the balance so its probably best they dont do that
This is the same conclusion my testing resulted in to.
I don’t believe they should add LOAL just yet (as much as I wish they would with new pantsir coming), but they do just need to either: get rid of the terrain following (not ideal at all), or add a GNSS only version of the missile (which I would prefer personally).

not meaningfully LO if the engine is fully exposed
Later variants dont have a exposed engine

Imo the engine beneath the fuselage has so much more aura.
Also the built in countermeasure dispensers are peak.
I believe it might just be one facing downwards but there’s not many good pics on it…
I remember from the footages that flares are launched towards both sides
Honestly I don’t think US will have any effective fixed wing cas unless they get stormbreakers and JAGM-Fs. Any large munitions will most likely be DOA unless it gets LOAL and other features.
I would still prefer mavericks over the 84H because any subsonic munitions needs to be used 10km for it to be somewhat effecting and that point you might as well use something that can maneuver quickly.
It’s probably best to grind other nations or at the very least passively grind the new F-16 as protest.
