Again Gaijin lied to us

Why? Because it was explicitly stated that the new modules added to vehicles would not take more than a few seconds to repair. Yet not even a year later we have vehicles spending literally over one minute repairing with lvl 5 repair on all crew and no dead crew.

I have been grinding the 2S19M1 today and noticed how excessively long the repair on that thing is after spending multiple games in a row repairing for the vast majority of the game time. My record repair was 84 seconds with a single dead crew. That repair came not even 10s after I had finished two consecutive 54s repairs.
So I started testing and literally every “new” module on that vehicle takes 45s to repair with a lvl 5 repair crew. In the trurret alone you have 5 Modules, only one of them being an “old” module, if you take the gun as well you have 6 with two old modules.

It is just excessive that you can spend 60-80% of a match repairing your vehicle because of module repair, it is also sad to see that I was once again fully correct in my opinion that the new modules woul make tanks excessively survivable.

We now have a repair simulator with near unkillable tanks. The amount of stuff I have survived in that 17mm house on tracks is also just insane. A full clip from an XM 800destroying literally every turret module I had but somehow not being able to frontally hit my ammo because of all the stuff in the way, multiple 128mm APHE shell exploding isnide the rurret and so on. The Modules block all kinds of damage, leaving me with insane repair times.

Amnd all of that despite Gaijin saying that these modules will only take 6s of repair time and add a max of 20s to any repair. Well my record is 84s (I hope the game just bugged out because the max repair time should be 60s?) so far for Gun, Breech, FSC, Autoloader, Horizontal, roof MG and power system with 1 dead crew

but yeah it would be nice if some of those things repaired a bit faster, though I don’t recall gaijin ever saying the new modules would repair fast

You admitting to having a level 1 crew on your 2S19M1 crew is your choice to have level 1 at 7.0.

I had some guy say I was cheating because of it once lol, he shot the launcher like 5 times before I got killed by cas lol. that was a few months ago though so it might have changed

no he’s right in that regard actually, it has to be rank 5 for crew repair skills to be fully effective on a rank 5 tank, not sure about ranks after that and how that works though

are you serious man, repair rank does not matter in the slightest way when you repair TANKS, and i mean TANKS, NOT PLANES, and in MATCHES not in HANGAR
repair rank is absolutely useless
and the man here is talking about CREW REPAIR not REPAIR RANK
