I like the idea of previewing this type of content and adding vehicles that haven’t been delivered to their buyers yet.
This prevents the game from becoming held hostage by the complicated delivery timelines for military vehicles.
But Gaijin needs to maintain a certain consistency in these types of decisions and avoid some odd situations.
For example
It’s funny to think that the Swedish tree will get
an leo2A8NO before the Danish A7.
I like the addition of the F-15IA and the A-8, but it goes to show how biased Gaijin is toward China; the inclusion of the F-16V Block 72 instead of the Block 70 was based on the fact that Taiwan has not yet received its Block 70 fighters (they have been paid for and ordered, but have not yet been delivered).
I don’t think this type of addition is a bad thing, but Gaijin should be consistent in these kinds of decisions, either they do it for all nations, or they don’t do it for any of them.
Edit: may the favoritism shown to the snail be extended to all nations, and may we see similar additions in every nation
Not really surprising, the a7 doesnt really bring much over the strv122, the 2a8 on the other hand has an APS, which is probably why they added it to begin with.
i agree mostly
but gaijin justification for not doing this previously was so that they wouldnt add vehicles that were ordered but the order ends up being changed or cancelled
Just think, the CR3 hasn’t even been updated yet, even though the version presented in September features thicker armor on the front of the turret and clearly visible APS systems XD
Gaijin’s inconsistency can lead to some strange situations.
For example, the Rafale F4s that have not yet been delivered to France.
Indonesia has already received its 6 Rafale F4 fighter jets.
If the Rafale F4 comes into the game, will it be for both France and Japan, or just for Japan?(indonesia subtree)
We don’t know cuz Gaijin is inconsistent.
Gsijin could do the same thing she did with the F-16V (where she refused to include the Block 70 instead of the Block 72, because the Block 70 hadn’t been delivered yet), or she could do the same thing she did with the F-15IA (which is an aircraft that hadn’t been delivered, yet she still took it into account).
We know what Gaijin will take into account or disregard.
Realism is a wild card in the snail’s hand.
Realism is completely selective here.
??? It’s always the same old talk about realism. This is a game focused on realism, and the current decisions have absolutely no effect on the game’s balance. It’s surreal that there’s criticism of the F-15IA and then they go on to talk about other nations or defend one or defend none at all, quite simply
Where was the criticism regarding the F-15IA made in my post?
I said that I like this addition, just as I like the addition of the Leo 2A8, but I’m asking Gaijin for more consistency. Since they choose to make these kinds of additions, and given that they clearly have their favorites, I’m calling for consistency so that this favoritism is extended more equitably across all nations.
Is it that hard to understand?
But there are many cases that can be taken into account, such as the F-15IA and the F-16V Block 70, where the platform has already been ordered, paid, developed, and is simply awaiting delivery.
This type of case must be taken into account.
