Adding scale for grids on maps in ARB like those in GRB.

The current ARB map looks like this, while it has grid zones helpful for locating targets, the grids does not give any information about distance and in extension, map size.

Current ARB map interface

Given the large variations in ARB map sizes especially at top tier, it is very hard to gauge how much fuel to take by just looking at the map. Normally, this is alleviated by the use of drop tanks, but a number of jets do not have them (e.g. Flankers), or stands at a serious disadvantage if they are used (e.g. J-10A where the drop tanks take up weapon pylons). The grids also serve as a rudimentary rangefinder. If one is low on fuel, knowing approximately how far away the target/airstrip is would be incredibly helpful for fuel management.

Suggestion: add a scale for the map grid zones like the one on the bottom right of this GRB map screenshot.

Yes, this would be very nice addition! Also would like the bearing compass like in GRB

Iā€™d like this added for Air sim as well. While the wiki has the map sizes, it would help new players pick appropriate maps much more easily and reduce the justified complaint of not finding anyone on afganistan EC at 3.0-4.0 brackets

As an added, somewhat selfish hopeful desire - it might help highlight how much of ARB maps are wasted by the current objective design and may drive a zeitgeist asking for more of the map to be used. Theoretically the non-arcade ARB maps are ~8x8km per grid for total of 64x64 km just like sim EC equivalents at prop tiers.
