im not saying only because range im saying that 120c5 has better aoa allowing high of angle attack and can turn of maximum 40g instead of 35g and has better thrust so it can be better for short engagement f18c could play more aggressive it matches its performance

my cases are f18c is new plane should got its new missile same as su30 and it also slower and has less missile while not having as good as reader and thats why it would be cool and actually historical acerate for f18c to get its 120c i never able to carry 120b because it was made in 2010 and 120c was interested in 2001
and aim9m-10 with better gs of 35g vs aim9m 30g and better tracking all are historical acerate
The hornet is viable right now, just not meta. There is no reason to upset game balance by trying to FORCE the hornet to do a HIGH FIGHTER’s job by artificially buffing it over other planes. The earlier hornets are overpowered as is, we don’t need to make the C Late overpowered too

Chinese PL-12 can pull within a 1.2 kilometer with its 38G pull if carrier is going around mach 1, and French MICA’s are thrust vectoring 50G monsters, and you are just proposing an addition of a missile that is a bit worse than MICA’s in maneuvrability aspect and has more range then any other Fox 3 in a game. Once again, my answer is no.
Hornet is fine as it is, take it or leave it. Game is not yet ready of more poverfull missiles.
because this is war thunder, not DCS. Loadouts are how gaijin balance aircraft. Giving THIS JET and ONLY THIS JET 120Cs when there are about 30 other jets that can use them already in game = artificial catering to this jet
The AIM-120A is STILL the best radar missile in game, and you want its successor thats even better. Think man
we are talking about f18c now and 120c on slower jet like f18c wouldn’t be so overpower as you say its just same cases as su30 it was better missile, and its new jet so why can’t f18c with same date release to get its new set of missile and 120c5 isn’t way stronger then r77-1 as you calme its better then 120a/b for sure but it’s just 15% different better in overall range and energy
