Add telemetry data overlay to missile/bomb tracking camera

I am suggesting the addition of a simple data overlay that appears only when using the Tracking Camera: Bomb/Missile bind. Currently, we can see the ordnance fly, but we have no way of knowing its actual performance during the flight. It would be a great addition (in my opinion) to see exactly how fast our missiles or bombs are travelling in real-time and how they behave after launch.

Where it would be
To keep the UI clean, the info should be placed at the top-middle of the screen. It should only be visible while the tracking camera is active and disappear/revert to default UI when not.

Final say’s up to you but if I may suggest what information to display:

  • Speed: Current velocity shown in km/h or mph and Mach
  • Heading
  • Seeker: in the case of ARH missiles, this shows whether the seeker is in TRK mode or IOG/DL mode. For other things like bombs it would show its primary or whichever guidance method is in use.
  • G-Load: how many Gs the missile/bomb is currently pulling
  • Distance travelled: how far the ordnance has flown

Why I think this would be a good addition:

Most of the time, we are just curious about what is happening with the missile or bomb after it leaves the rail. It would be very interesting to see the top speed reached during the motor burn or how much speed a bomb picks up in a high-altitude drop which would all help players understand the limits of their weapons through simple observation.
