To maintain balance, new vehicles are being added gradually and in a more analytical way. If the T-14 and SEPv2 were in the same match, the latest variant T-14 would probably feel like “V-1 Supe Homelander” lol.
T-14 has there are active protection systems capable of stopping APFSDS rounds traveling at 1700–2200 m/s and other types of ammunition. Also the T-90M is already a very strong tank the biggest weakness of Russian tanks is their extremely poor reverse speed, which often leads to deaths in combat.
However, tanks like the T-90M2, 2A8V, and other top-tier vehicles would be much more balanced because everything would operate under more equal conditions. Also, the 2A7V and Strv 122B+ have been among the best tanks in the game for a long time better then T-90M and T-80BVM.

Doubtful, T-14 Armata and T-90M2 may be similar but as I said it’s rumours and, I don’t think nothing of hype-deserved will be added to ground vehicles this year other than the possibility that M1A2C can bring to the game (i.e. more advanced penetrators with anti-explosive reactive armor capabilities and so on).

If the game was more like irl, and a Leo didn’t make a pin point shot at 2000m that happens to own the breech and disable practically your whole tank, then it would be different.
In that circumstance the T90M would be good as it’s a small hard to hit target. But it isn’t that circumstance.
It’s a game, lacking enough irl elements, that people will just hold W, rush a corner in… let’s say an abrams, and plaster you before you can do much.

The reverse speed on all Russia tanks is lackluster and that’s to be expected tbh Russia and the ussr did focus mass produced at the cheapest cost what lead to the bad reserve speed

Dm73 has been in production for years at this point and it started life in 2016 with qualifications being finished in 2024 so produced started after that maybe your thinking of 83 what has only just started its qualifications in 24 with limited production for testing although in those tests it’s claimed to defeat Relikt

Ofc it has its use dm83 probably won’t see real production for a good few more years finishing qualifications takes years (I could be wrong so please take everything with a grain of salt)
