Add missions involving carrier operations, fleet engagements, coastal defense, and anti-ship missions. The game has a large number of carrier-based aircraft with anti-ship capabilities. It’s a shame not to take advantage of the potential of these types of scenarios and weapons systems.
If Gaijin manage to make air realistic battles last longer than five minutes, sure this will be a good addition to some maps like Sinai.
At higher tiers, matches are exclusively player versus player or base bombing, when targetting moving or non-important targets gives less points, players are not going to focus on them.
i really like this idea, in my opinion we need much more (also high value) Targets and we need more missions then only “destroy all planes” so i really would like to see such missions but in the same moment we should also improve the anti ship weapons and the damagemodels of the ships, because the last time i tryed the Kormoran it was really bad in destroying ships because it dont have that much tnt and hits far to high
Imagine having to take off, land, and attack a landing force or a carrier group with their escorts, anti-aircraft systems, and enemy air protection. Of course, sinking an aircraft carrier would require massive damage from missiles and bombs. They would be high-value targets. Of course, land-based aircraft capable of using anti-ship weapons or those that were effective could also be involved. In the future, low-signature radar aircraft could even be used to penetrate the fleet’s defensive radar systems (F-22, F-35, F-117, SU-57, J20), or ECM aircraft (Growler, Prowler, Wild Weasel) to open corridors or attack radars.
In addition, all heavy guided bombs would be used, along with large missiles and the ability to deploy others. This would be much more logical and effective than using such weapons against bases, pillboxes and vehicles
