Add AGM-179 (SAL) to AH-64D at 12.0

I wish Gaijin to add the laser version only of the JAGM for the Long Bow Apache. Its much better than the hellfires since it has more range and burn fuel all the way to the target which result in a faster travel and also can track other helis above 6km in a much more reliable way. Hellfire would only hit if the heli is hovering stationary.

Should they Add this weapon for the Long Bow Apache?

and for the AH-1Z

(it has better optics so would be able to use the longer range better)

Agreed. I would give a try to the Viper since i missed its gold times and now at 12.0 with regular hellfires II i think its a waste of time.

yeah I hope they buff it, because there is so much that its missing

could get better air to air missiles (9x and maybe even amraam)
better air to ground missiles (JAGM, and a few long range options also probably SideARM)
better avionics (longbow radar in an overwing pod and LDIRCM)

Not for the 64D, maybe give it 114R.

The AH-1Z should get both versions of agm-179 because it is literally the first aircraft being implemented with them

I think the 114R would be more of a downgrade than anything else (at least with how it’s currently implemented).

Well I mean the biggest fix in general would be fixing the models and stats of NATO weaponry

I agree but for easy fixes (which the devs seem to like), slapping the 64D with the JAGM might be the best option.

It’ll make the 64D competitive for it’s BR.

So you want them moved up to 13.0…

Sadly doesn’t impact range.

Not my takes.
Those are the takes of the game itself, & consequences of weapon powercreep.

It’s your take, not the game’s.

LDRICM+FnF is what makes Heli go up to 13.0.

Not sure if you done your research or not, but the ROMEO is SALH not MMW.

The JAGM(SAL) would fit at 12.0 because majority helicopter engagements that require constant LOS occur <10km. The primary reason being the maps. Helicopters cannot stick low to the ground 16km away and maintain LOS of a target. It requires it going extremely high which would become food for SPAA and aircraft.

So it seems that there was some changes to the HEDP round fired by the 30mm chain gun. If someone has the dev server, can you check to see if this resulted in a buff or nerf?

I dont have a comparison but this is the statcard on dev

image,

hmmm, I’ll need to compare the changes between the live and dev. maybe an accuracy buff?

idk about that, I tried it in dev and it was very inaccurate

I wonder what actually changed then.
