Yes we do. Well, it depends on multitude of things, but we do.
The problem now is not “through clouds”.
For IR lock SPAA like ADATS/ASRAD/Stormer HVM. The IR system can’t even lock on target until 3 or 4km just because clouds in the background.
Apparently,Gaijin never created IR system forSPAAs,all IR system is same with TV system of roland in 70s
I reported the motor burn time: Community Bug Reporting System
I’d like to know the missile speed after 3 seconds in the game. Does it go over Mach 3 in that time? Some sources say the missile reaches Mach 3+ in 3 seconds, which matches the motor action time from the source I used in the bug report
Great work dude, every spaa player appreciates any little buff we get, i just hope it stays acknowledged.
Quite sure it goes over it, but I’ll check later
I’ll report the lack of stabilization in the ADATS when I get home. In real life, the E/O module is stabilized.
a stabilized platform on which the above-mentioned sensors of the EO fire control system are arranged
The stabilization of the sensors (Fig. 6) essentially consists of a servo-controlled inner and outer gimbal. The inner one carries the stabilized platform with the sensors. The outer one carries the housing and isolates the sensor platform from dynamic (vibrations) and other environmental influences and disturbances.
The aiming system is used to position the E-0 fire control sensors on the target and to align the optical axes of these sensors. It includes the stabilized platform, the servo electronics, the tracker electronics, the E-0 module housing and the boresight module.

Yoooooooooo
Attack the D point, visualized
I was going to write the bug report, but I believe it won’t go anywhere. In a similar bug report about ASRAD stabilization + ASRAD-R sight is not stabilised, it was marked as “not a bug” because “Stabilized sensor unit != Stabilized launcher.” In the case of ADATS, the module with sensors is stabilized, and there’s no mention of the launchers. Having only the sight stabilized would already be nice, regardless of whether the launcher is stabilized or not. Anyway, if someone wants to give it a try, feel free to report it.
Yea, that sure did happend…
Sadly they do consider weapon stabilization more important than the sight stabilization, even in a case like missile vehicles.
@Smin1080p_WT would it be possible to pass things like ADATS, ASRAD etc. to get stabilizer based on the sight stabilization, not launchers stabilization, as a suggestion (as in bug reports one)?
I’ve already reported the ADATS missing a gun stabilizer 3 months ago, TWICE, and both reports were ignored.
i might do it, gonna edit this if i do
edit: did
Is this a game limitation? Aren’t the sights linked to the main gun so if the sight is stabilized and the main gun isn’t, it would mean that the sight is “unstabilized” ?
Are there vehicles where the sight is independent from the main gun?
No, as of now devs need weapon to be stabilized, not sight. So if a tank has stabilized weapon, but not sight, it gets stab in game. If the sight has a stab, but weapon no, it does not get a stab.
even so, the 25mm should’ve also been stabilized and the only one unstabilized would be the missile launchers
Missile fails to reach Mach 3, it peaked at 2.93 (end of 2s burn time) and instantly started to slow down
Thanks. I’ll try to add some sources to the MIM-146 rocket motor performance report later

SCHWEIZER SOLDAT 7/83 p. 17
The smokeless solid-fuel rocket motor accelerates the wingless missile to over Mach 3 (3700 km/h) within three seconds.
ASMZ 12/1984 p. 649
During the course of these trials, the main requirements for the missile, such as acceleration to a speed of over Mach 3 within approximately three seconds, flawless aerodynamic behavior throughout the entire flight duration, and smokeless combustion of the engine, were successfully demonstrated.
