It is an issue with multiple systems, that has been reported a while ago.
Gaijin is doing nothing with it.
It should be a feature that we can (if realistic) turn off radar without turning off any thermal or visual sensors as well.
And, it does have to be indicated if I am transmitting or not, especially now with ARM’s.

It is a bug present in game for over 2 years now. It does not seem to be a high priority tho Community Bug Reporting System
