ADATS, what Gaijin got wrong

Yes but that gets funky with tows since it doesn’t align with the missile guidance :(

I think they should add a secondary crosshair that extends off the gun sight. Meaning once you get over the gun elevation, there’s just a small crosshair that continues on to the full elevation

Custom sight option might come for it eventually, i normally use the commander sights on the Bradley to save messing around in and out options menu’s.

At least TOWs work now aye.

Yeah, you have to use camera through gunner sights with IFVs.
Once I get LRF on the last tank I want to play, I switch entirely to camera through gunner sight.

Yeah I’ve switched to gunner sights, trying to get used to it since tows actually work now

They’re super fun to use now

I’ve been using the 8.3 one again recently, super fun in a defensive position.

He once sent me a private message asking to delete my post because it quoted his post, which he had edited. I don’t understand why people keep talking to him.

I dunno how he’s not banned already, just a professional gaslighter over a simple observation on the US ADATS it’s actually unreal. I chat with people on this daily and he’s a constant problem for people.

The green needs to be the whole diameter of the radar and targets need to show up as non locked targets on screen since the Adats automatically slews the turret to target meaning you can choose a non LOS target, and the adats will automatically center to it

10 targets need to show up like this

Automatic tracking when one target is locked

@Hartsy1 The fact you want people banned for bug reporting and supporting bug reporters is honestly disgusting.
This is what I sent to Flogger BTW:

I’m nearly sure they would do it the Pantsir way

So corners for not locked target and nearly full for locked one.

I hope so

Or they can just not add TWS to search radars, you know, Gaijin way.

I prefer that it stays that way. Because USSR shouldn’t have the most strongest tanks.

Umm, what?

Wat

It is for IR Air to ground missiles though

Found more info, ADATS uses the same optics as the Apache A, so it should get GEN 2 thermals

Also has a IR missile localizer so can lock incoming missiles

@Gunjob sorry to drag you into this again but found 2 more sources that are worth looking at. See post #1 for screenshot of pdf and the third source

The early Apaches (and a bunch of other early helicopters) should all have gen 1 thermals actually, that’s why the ADATS only has gen 1. However for helicopters specificallly, developers have decided to upgrade all gen 1s to gen 2 at least for gameplay reasons. This is at least the answer you’ll find in past bug reports about this and other similar reports.

This is embarrassing, what’s the issue?
