ADATS, Roland, and VT1/Crotale NG missiles missing reduced smoke motors?

I was just made aware of this and looked into it further but ALL western nations top tier SAM’s are currently missing reduced smoke currently?! This is a clear misrepresentation and direct nerf to the western SAM systems, and video evidence of this can EASILY be found:
ADATS:

Roland:

Crotale/VT1:

Compare this to the Pantsir, which produces a massive and visibly obscuring smoke plume (like seen ingame on all above missiles):

Or the TOR:

This is a clear and blatant sign of favoritism towards the russians/chinese, nerfing all western SAM systems to have the same excessive smoke plume the Pantsir/Tor produces irl instead of their actual smoke plumes.

As an extra sidenote, look at how fantastically the Roland can track a very close range, aggressively maneuvering target in the second video above, and compare it to the anemic performance seen in-game. Its actually jarring how different the real life performance is compared to that seen in-game.

Oh I reported ADATS engine smoke issue was reported back when the tank came to be, and gaijin hand waved it sadly along with a few other folks reporting the same.

Would not be surprised if it gets ignored a second time.

true, Rolands and VT-1 have much more manoeuvrability IRL and nearly no smoke. the FlaRakRad is also missing a critical modification
as a side note, the Tor actually gets missiles in the air slower than irl.

Dunno if thats reported, but i can do so.
It will be low smoke. Maybe. As the smoke is there, but it is more transparent than your standard white.

its here my guy Community Bug Reporting System

Roland in the second video is a beast, in game we only get like 3 seconds of stability before it turns into a brick…

beyond 3km and it turns like a ship

Yeah the second vid really showed me how much the roland was underperforming, there is literally 0 chance a roland manages to hit a similar target in WT

Must have been an AI airfield defense Roland, not a player controlled one… ;-)

m8, idk when the last time you’ve seen the AI airfield rolands shoot at anything, but theyre even more worthless than the prop tier airfield AA. Its embarassing.

Not sure why gaijin picked the worst Roland (roland 1) on the worst roland vehicle (french one with 35 deg of elevation only) as the AF AA, but its basically worthless. Ive watched players fly laps over the AF to camp it in sim and the air defense couldnt do anything.

I know, I was just tying to be funny… ;-)

Wonder how it will be after the patch.

For a thrust vectoring missile it really does turn like a firework XD.

The French Roland’s 35° has been bug reported and still waiting to hear a response or for it to be implemented like the other roland systems.

Do the new airfields get new AA? A couple friends of mine and I have been discussing this but none of us have actually looked into if that was the case.

Sadly I can’t confirm or deny, I’m just as curious as everybody else.

I though I’ve read or heard somewhere that this should be the case, but don’t remember where. Just think to remember it was worded quite vaguely and could mean anything…

Edit: Found it again: Location Improvements & Updated Abandoned Factory! - Official News, Development Blogs and Updates - War Thunder — official forum

There’s new buildings, a reliable light signaling system, and positions of anti-aircraft missile systems for protecting aircraft.

If that changes the SAM type, and if yes, to what, anyone’s guess is as good as mine. But I think it would be nice if it would be something else than those Rolands…

Has the smokeless motor of MIM-72s fixed in DEV?
