Yes, my baseline approach is that “Tigers are flankers, Panthers are snipers”. Though with the obvious issue of map rotation I end up using Panthers as second spawn in brawling scenarios too, most of the time. You kinda have to if you want to rescue a game and have to thus push the cap.
It’s solid on paper but I’m not sure how it will play out in game, I’ll just have to find out. I think Tiger E might be a very viable flanker still, but the Panthers will probably be pretty mediocre snipers in 6.3/6.7/7.0 games; at that point if I really need a sniper I’ll just spawn a Sturer Emil or a Waffentraeger instead, they’re much better at that particular job. So I suspect Panthers are gonna become “all purpose, game is hanging in the balance and someone needs to go to the cap and try to win this thing” last-choice spawns for me at that BR, but I’ll experiment, because I might be wrong.
+1 i would like to see this added at 6.0 for battle pass or event tank with panther F turret at least you will have range finder faster reload !
and panther II in game should be renamed Panther II 88kwk.
Yeah, sounds like a plan. Pity I dont really have time and this thread is too little information to grant a suggestion. If you have time, I guess you can suggest said vehicle.
Yeah given the Panther 2 as seen in the american museum is technically a US modification of a Panther 2 hull. Yeah i think one can make a valid argument it can be added to the american tree as BP vehicle or something similar.
For the Sim players and to decrease malding ln the forum it would probably go in the germany tree.
Idk what the Abardeen reports said about this vehicle, so idk if its meaningfully better than the Panthers allready in game.
Yeah nah, we dont really want controversial stuff too much. It will fit fine in german tech tree, eitherway Gj will eventually need to find a substitute mdeium between the Panthers and the Leopard.
Seems like the only difference is the added armour and the Maybach HL-230 700 hp engine. The weight was also allegedly increased to 47 tons. So basically an up-hull-armoured panther tank.
