Very amusing. I made a couple of criticisms of Gaijin’s poor matchmaking. With a suggestion to withhold buying products from them until they fixed it. A couple of weeks past and my account was suspended with them stating someone would contact me as to why. No one contacted me and a few days later the account suspension was ended. No explanation. I guess Gaijin has thin skin. LOL

Since it was a temp ban, it means any of the following:
If you were game account banned, don’t violate gameplay rules.
If you were chat banned, don’t violate chat rules.
If you were forum banned then yeah, don’t violate the rules.
It’s a chat/forum rule violation to encourage others to not play/not purchase content.
You most likely said or did something in game that was deserving of a temp ban, Gaijin has no interest in suspending the account of some nobody over threats of an individual case of boycott. Hope that helped :/

Its just how Gaijin does community relations management. At least normally you get to make your point and have it seen/registered before they get around to giving you a time out.

Absolutely untrue.
Gaijin has stated out loud that it is against the rules to suggest people not buy things or not play. And if something is against the rules, then it’s punishable.
You are spreading misinformation. I wonder why.
Had he been simply temp chatbanned for saying bad words or insults or something, it would come with a canned write up like “Hate speech, insulting other players” or something similar to that.

You can’t criticize the snail, the game, or imply something about a single shared braincell. Then there’s a few forum warriors who will report posts that don’t toe the party line, at which point an excuse will most likely be found somehow to suspend you.

I got 2 weeks for calling someone an idiot - that’s all - no swearing or anything else other than the sort of comments you might expect when someone is an idiot.
1st time in the new forum (had 1 x 3 day one in old forum I think - long time ago) - 2 weeks.
Actually the OP tried to encourage others to stop spending money if X, Y or Z won’t be changed as part of a rant post.
I saw this and recommended to rephrase this statement as gaijin reacts rather allergic to such statements. I even gave an alternative wording like “there is nothing wrong with voting with your wallet if you are not happy with certain things” - but obviously the OP did not follow this recommendation.
This was about 1, 2 or 3 weeks ago, thread was deleted as i am unable to find my reply in my reply history…

And people DO get punished for saying not to buy or telling people not to play. YOU are spreading misinformation. On purpose.
Telling people not to play and telling people not to buy things IS A VIOLATION.

Yes, that is a forum rules violation. Glad you know as well.
It’s a chat/forum violation to encourage others not to play the game/purchase content, which results in a chat/forum ban, not an game account ban.
His post is potentially claiming to be the first ever person to be account banned; EXTRAORDINARY CLAIMS require extraordinary evidence.
Everyone else in War Thunder that did the same was chat banned only.
If it’s a game ban, I oppose such things over this issue.
He never claimed to be “The first person ever” anything. You are overreacting to an absurd degree.

I think you are confusing an in game chat ban with a posting on the forum’s suspension. The later of which I think they were complaining about.
You’re not opposing anything. You’re calling OP a liar for saying he was tempbanned for promoting a boycot on purchases.
That is kinda what he does here. I think its his full time job. lol
Him and a specific handful of other accounts I have known in various forms over the years who I won’t name.
