The double standards exhibited by the ISSUES administrators are completely unacceptable. Any suggestions favoring the VT5 are arbitrarily dismissed, even when substantial evidence is provided. This has occurred repeatedly, with the Challenger tanks and Ram tanks being prime examples.

The internal structure of the VT5 is inaccurately designed. Its hull lacks composite armor, resulting in weak side protection. Gaijin replaced the composite armor on the frontal hull with two oversized fuel tanks. They cannot arbitrarily imagine and add non-existent elements to its internal structure.

I think you can say more directly that the VT5 armor is weak, rather than that the VT5 armor is not right. Even if you use the TAM tank as an example to enhance the VT5 armor out of the original intention, others will only think that you are trying to use the armor materials of the TAM era to appease the VT5 armor. What’s more obvious is that the armor materials in China today are obviously much stronger than those in that era.

What view most Chinese players have in common with you is that the VT-5 Light MBT’s armour needs to be improved, as the armour data shown in the game is totally wrong. However, the reason why they argue with you is that they think the VT-5 shall have a better armour than what you think it shall be, especially when you compare the VT-5 with the TAM-2 which has a different design language with VT-5. I personally want to convey my thank for your concern on this topic, which MAY let Gaijin fix it. But about the data I believe the objective data provided by some of the Chinese players above will be more persuasive as we can get some details that written in Chinese and only be published in the Chinese Internet. What is important is to analyse the limited quantity of published data but not to argue whether the VT-5 shall be a MBT or not.
