I think gaijin need to accept some issues from the players because some of them are absolutely reliable. The vt5 in the game is obviously a vehicle which is totally based on Gaijin’s imagination and it’s lack of evidence of reality.like the datas of the protect performance and the rotating structure of the turent

VT5 should have more composite armor than iron shell and it weight as the T-54, but it cannot even endure 12.7mm bullets, which is ridiculous. What’s more, VT5 should get a lining.
These information are availabale so eaily even in this post :), image, report, thesis, papers…The truth is obviously: VT5 in this game is a gaint joke.

The basket is like a bin for shell casings, even if the basket is damaged and can’t rotate, all it means to the tank is that the shell casings can’t be thrown into the bin, and the shell casings will be piled up under the crew’s feet.

I’m wondering if the walls are actually part of the DM, as in hitting the walls will disable the turret drive. Since iirc the Leo/Abrams are keeping the visual model of the big turret drive but will only have the top/bottom as part of the DM. IDK if this has something similar.

The upper frontal armor of the VT5 is a thick composite armor, while the lower frontal armor gains protection through a combination of ceramic armor and add-on armor.

The ‘basket’ is not part of the turret steering, the crew of the VT5 sits on chairs welded to the turret rim like the T72/T80, and the shell casing bin exists independently of the turret steering.

In the game’s beta service, it behaves like the previous Leopard II tank’s basket, with the turret unable to rotate when hit. But the pictures show that in reality the VT5 doesn’t have this basket at all, and gaijin didn’t do the internal modelling of the shell casing bin either
