About Nuclear Escalation and the Bomber Damage Model by BVV_d

I only play blue side because I have no red side aircraft. So it is pretty easy to take out the red side SAMs with GBU-39s and JSOWs.

china and russia have those rocket dual pulse like YJ-91A going Mach 3.5 those have great range

Yes the AGM-154 is slow, but it is a guaranteed kill. Same with the GBU-39. If you take a bunch of GBU-39s, you can completely destroy multiple SAM sites. And with JSOWs, you can just take out the tracking radar and the entire site is dead.

yep. agm 154s. or gbu 39s or 53s. those have stealth and sometimes are not shot at at all. go high alt very close to their max release speed. travel towards enemy ground units, wait for s300 or buk launch. Search for where they from through the targeting pod.

Launch at them in point lock. They take ages to get there. but with 16 gbu53s per run you can take out two entire s300 sites per sortie.

I mean that is what NE stand for, but I just have that feeling scinse the last RB ( not SIM) test, the RED team AA have gotton stronger. But befor at certain BR Ne was unplayple since you got uptierd to 13.3.

i know. the kh31s and kh58s. i tried using those on sampts…gave up after 3 sorties.

In my experience, they make it through 99% of the time. I have only had a GBU-39 get intercepted once, and that was one I dropped on the 2s6 guarding the site. They seem to know that the GBU-39s aren’t targeting them so they just ignore it. Even though it is supposed to guard the whole site lol.

what could russia even get at this point USA IRL and in game take strike planes like f15EX to the next level how could it be equal at this point

Yeah its hit or miss. sometimes they take down everythign, sometimes nothing at all.

It lines up with the entire game beind consistently inconsistent.

I think they have something similar to JASSM that they could get

Also yeah the F-15EX is going to be insane for nuke thunder

idk rly. but i feel like they would need to implement something like an interception probability so that sams dont interecept everything launched at them with 100% success rate while they dont shoot at other ordinance at all.

doesnt rly help that red side (unless for gripen e) gets 0 glide bombs with stealth at all…or do you simply play red side as air to air only? im really trying to make sense of this…

and they have a suggestion for it to carry 4 more GBU53 on each wing(accepted as a “suggestion”)

maybe this thing if it is being used would help

I don’t really think they will actually give it that. And even if they did, I would just prefer to carry HARMs there instead of more SDBs anyways.

that would be the better choice the 28 SDB is just greedy the real game changing left to be decided is the MAW (accepted but smin says not decided)

Make the BR fitting to the real life capability. If we do not want Warthunder to become Fantasy Thunder we will end up in a situation where the absolute top tier/highest BR will only be for the US and some extend China, certainly in air.

It has long been avoided by letting older US tech fight more modern stuff, but we are reaching the '20s in Warthunder and it becomes unavoidable to match an F22 to other nations. Industrial base and technical capabilities are just unmatched by the other nations.

So let the F22 have a 0.7 higher BR then the rest, so it can only join in battles as the top dog. At a certain time, que times for the F22 make people play lower BR planes because the matchmaker just have more place for lower BR planes.

F-22 early is the thing that helps with that worse than J20 and maybe equal with su57 but f22 late is when f22 starts cooking J20 will be very good F-35 will be very common but it will work su57 will also be good but I’m not too sure about it

Imagine, F-22 with 6x AIM-260 + 2x AIM-9X Blk II and Scorpion HMD

can J20 even compete with that level of cooking idk…

J20 doesn’t have a gun so when its out of missiles F-22 will deep boil it

also F-22 in my guess will behave like a F16XL with F15EX engines
