Had this happen to me today. 150 sl and 200 rp boosters wasted because I got thrown into match that was almost over.

Yeah, its why im not using any boosters currently, its a shame because a good game can bring in a few 100k of SLs, with a booster it would be awesome. But not worth wasting them

I know they’ll never do it, because it goes against their buissness model, but I really wish there was some safe guard for that baked into the game, had it before in NEC and ASB.

Ultimately what Id love is for boosters to be something you apply retroactively, rather than something you apply prior to the match.

Good game? Apply a booster

Bad Game? Save it for another match.

Its semi-active radar homing, not surprising if it can swap radar targets

Its also part of what makes the S300 so easy to counter, by just popping down below the hill line for a second

I spent this weekend playing NE in 11.3-13.0 range specifically. To be fair, while what you said is true, the red side pretty much never wins. It’s just the matter of fact, whether one likes it or otherwise. After about 20-25 minutes what happens every game is a human wave of F-111’s, 3/4 of which do get intercepted, but 1/4 do not. And 1/4 of “many” is still quite a lot, so go figure how long red’s AF last. I am not starting to guess why is that the case, but note that the reverse is not true. Same does not happen with su-24’s.

Thats not cherrypicking - I accumulated multiple pages which are all like that, every last one. At most 2 wins per page, usually less. Note that GB plays as reds 95% of the time.

I think it’s because of how fast the F-111F is compared to the Su-24 and everything else in it’s BR range. It’s the fastest plane in the whole game below 12.7, and it the only thing that could come close would be a Mig-23 (but it can’t do a ton at low alts).

Compared to the su-24 it’s nearly 300kmh faster on deck (1300-1350kmh vs a little over 1600kmh), and has significantly better acceleration and I think a better RWR.

Damn, do you use TGP with F-15E or just aim points?

Probably.

Yet the point stands - at this time, at this br range blues have won 42 out of 49 games, as shown. Which is 85% WR. All the while fighting osas and BUKs instead of crappy flakpanzers.

Yeah I just use targeting pod to let me see the big SAMs from very far away and drop GBU-53 with point lock.

I’m nearly 100% sure with sufficiently fast planes, including the F-111F, the Osa cannot rotate it’s turret fast enough to track something zipping through as long as it hasn’t fired yet. So if you enter it’s detection range at an angle fast enough it will never fire. Also if you get under 4ish km without the Osa firing it can’t shoot either weirdly. For the BUK-M1, the sites are way easier to shutdown compared to the I-HAWK as it only has a single TADS to take out while the I-HAWK has 2 track + 1 acquisition radars.

I’ve played a bunch of F-111F in that bracket and if you carefully plot your low level flight path you can straight up fly through the middle of the map without any of the frontline SPAA being able to take you down and breakthrough into the backline to destroy the BUK-M1 and S-300 sites.

TELARs can work on their own without TADS. You need to take them out, not TADS.

had 3 games in row yesterday all together less then 60 seconds, bought 50% SL buff wasted it, gotta love how Gajin can have the best diamond in their hands and they will ruin it in a month, not to mention rewards being nerfed and SPPA and AA being buffed constantly.

I got that impression, too—playing as the U.S. and its allied nations is fun, as early as Era 7, we already have toys like the Mavericks, and that can really tip the scales of victory—even an F-5 at BR 11.0 can carry 4x AGM-65Bs, and after launching them, it becomes a fully-fledged, very dangerous air superiority fighter. And what does the USSR have? Only the SU-25T/39, the SU-17M4/22M4 can carry something similar, but only in very limited quantities. You can really feel the technological advantage on the side of the US and its allies around Tier 7 and early Tier 8.

But maybe that’s for the best—it’s time for US BIAS :))

P.S.: When will SPAA finally be rebalanced? The It0 90M doesn’t react to multipatching or notching and just hits us from between the trees out of nowhere; light combat vehicles also hit fighters from a distance of 2–3 km as soon as they fly within range (they’re super accurate).

Except that’s the thing. If it can swap targets like thst, that tactic doesn’t always work, because it can just swap to you instantly and kill you in seconds.

Can we please remove the new map, it is so small and terrible, who in the right mind decide a map of that size was enough for NE, BUK literally starts shooting at you when you are at the middle of the map

You mean when you just spawned?

That’s just bad luck, being in the wrong place at the wrong time with the missile already that close

And pretty damn rare too, lot of playing against S300’s in NE and personally never had it happen yet

Perhaps, but still annoying. Think they need to move the S-300s way back, like near the rear AF, and not just behind the front line, then spread the SPAA on the front line out a bit more, you have a LOT right by the forward AFs and then nothing on the middle ones

Make the already mostly harmless s300s even less threatening? Interesting choice when they’re usually wiped out in the first 10 minutes by jsow’s
