Why wasn’t the r 73 given to the mig 29 sniper?I hope if it were added the battles would change in the posetive way since it would change a better premium aircraft:)

Honestly it’s because r-27er and r-73s with hms would probably propel it to 13.0 like the mig-29g, which will be less viable to play than what it currently is like at 12.7.
Otherwise it’s where it needs to be

honestly the MiG-29G is a lot better off at its BR than the GDR 9.12A

both meet Su-30MKK anyways but one of them has 4 IRCCM TVC missiles to protect itself

Adding more IRCCM missiles into the mix of low skill players would not make this a positive change for anyone. Especially because it would be placed at 13.0.

Except it shouldn’t be placed at 13.0, same as MiG-29G should go to 12.7 and 9.12 and 9.13 MiG-29s should also recieve R-73s. We already have much better aircrafts with IRCCM missiles at this br (2 French F-16s, F-15A/J/Baz)

Pretty much always, by their own set of rules. I am 100% sure that Sniper would get Magic 2s or Pythons if there was at least one photo of them being mounted on the airframe (F-14A IRIAF with R-27Rs is a proof to that). But we have what we have.

The Mig-29 variants entered service before the R-27ER and those missiles were not exported to East Germany or Hungary, for example.
