Not sure why it doesn’t have unlimited use with a cooldown.

ikr, i thought it was unlimited, the crate reset every cooldown or every 5 min

I think they did that because tank destroyers also get ammo crates. Some tank destroyers would be a royal pain to have to deal with if they could just sit in a certain spot with endless ammo.

Agreed. Especially for the SPAA vehicles.
