Why are the Japanese AAM4’s so garbage worse than Aim120A’s, even though they are equal to Aim120B’s. I’m curious about your opinion?

As far as I’m aware in game it’s lacking a sustainer booster. I have no info about the missile having it or not, but being modern as it is, it feels just wrong to not have.
It has the lowest drag coefficient of all the others, but without a sustainer booster it becomes as unreliable at long range as the early Sparrows, as it will bleed a lot of energy maneuvering without being able to recover it.

120A and B have the same performance in game.
The AAM-4 has a dual stage booster IRL meaning it has a initiate burner and have a second booster during the terminal stage of flight like the r-77m has.
