Sorry about the English, I was too lazy to translate and used my 10% mental English, but in short: the A4s almost always used external fuel tanks attached and served not only as extra fuel, but also as landing gear in case of failure, which has already happened as seen in the first image. In the pink image we can see a part of the flight manual which says “if the landing gear fails and if there are no two external tanks on the wings, ejection is mandatory”. Besides, it’s more historical and beautiful!!! A real treat for SB players.

They might give them their fuel tanks someday. Also i hope they also give fuel tanks to AV-8B+

I think its like ejection seats, they didn’t exist in game when a lot of planes where added so they have to go back and add them in retroactively.
I think most of the props are missing their drop tanks, including the F-6F that has a loading screen where it has drop tanks!
And the Milan can equip it’s drop tanks to carry bombs, but cant actually put fuel in them!
Hopefully that add a lot more of them in soon.
