In Air-RB you currently only get 1 spawn. We should have the option to spawn in ANY AIRCRAFT we have that fits inside the BR of that current match. If we pick an aircraft that is 12.7 but get uptiered to 13.7 we should be able to change to one of our 13.7 aircraft.
So what would you then define as an uptier?
How many of the opponents would need to be above you in BR for you to be allowed a higher tier spawn?
how would a player deal with this if they had not yet unlocked the next BR planes? and should the corresponding lower BR opponent then not be allowed to bring higher BR plane because you can’t?
If a 12.7 goes into a 13.7 match there can only be 4 13.7s. Adding such a feature would make it so a 12.7 who doesn’t have a 13.7 can face a full team of 13.7s.
Only 1, its set by the match not the number.
The same way you do now, you have to play differently.
Opponents can have any aircraft they want in their lineup. As long as its the maximum allowed for the match, you can run it.
- You can bring any aircraft you have, like when you que with a 7.3 but still have 13.7 in your lineup.
- It would be based on the maximum tier aircraft allowed in the match. If you que in a 11.7 but the match allows 12.7 and you have one, you can use it.
If you get sucked into an uptier, and you HAVE the ability to not be uptiered you should be able to jump into that plane.
so in a match of 12 planes where 11 of them are 12.7 and one 13.7 (per side) all of the 22 total planes at 12.7 would then be allowed to change to a BR 13.7 plane?
take my example above, the issue then comes when 5 of the players on one team cant spawn a 13.7 because they don’t have one but the other side all have 13.7 planes to switch to making the match VERY uneven.
issue above still stands. it would run the very real risk of VERY uneven matches.
The problem of uptier/downtier might be a problem per say, but i don’t think your suggestion is a solution. I personally think it would create more issues than it solves. I would personally just narrow the BR range to ± 0.3 BR instead. so a 10.0 can face 10.3 and/or 9.7 instead of current ± 1.0 BR
