Basically title. But to explain. Most WT Players don’t look at the forums, wiki, blogs and such. Usually this means a every site has their own small player group to try and request or vote for things. (usually not all on the same page)
If the snail added a voting area into the game itself, it would allow everyone who logs into the game to be notified and cast a vote for whatever it is that month. It would be in the normal hanger screen with the ! on it for when a vote happens.
To keep bots from over running the votes. The requirements to vote would be to have 2 factor authorization, (Possibly) over 300 Hours of play time, and no previous (Botting or game breaking) bans.
As for what gets voted on. The snail would probably have full control unless there’s a “Popular” user submitted second option. Probably from a list of the most ♥ post’s with votes
When i saw this i was hoping it was a votekick system to deal with cheaters, unpleasant people in chat and so on, id love to be able to kick toxic people out of games
I dont think your idea would work tbh, most of the playerbase is not too knowledgeable about the in depth parts of the game many decisions votes should be on so this would add a lot of junk into the mix, keeping to the more knowledgable (but admittedly still sewage slugde quality) forum userbase makes counted votes more likely to have came from a educated POV
all still easy to cheese to bot votes although would make numbers smaller, what happened to the APHE vote wouldn’t be so large and fast.
300 hours is a long time for people too so many would have to AFK it out (no different to botting for time) in matches or be cast out from a vote they had the knowledge to put their ideas in
Yee, fair enough for your first part. As for the bots, I’m not to sure how to really address those that dont negativly effect newer players. Any form of in game requirements could be botted more or less. Maybe 2 factor could be enough?
So an update to the chats function then? Having This system and that one be updated/combined would fix both the problems of the wall of text and discussions right?
