A very specific message to Gaijin that everyone knows

I love War Thunder and have for the past two years. I love the level of detail, the realism every vehicle has, and how unique every vehicle is.

Every update, I used to be hyped. Every update, I expected some bugs and issues to be solved, some complaints to be addressed, and maybe even some suggestions to be added.

I love War Thunder, but my opinion of Gaijin has changed. It’s a massive, multi-million dollar company with 200–500 workers globally. They could fix bugs and pay more attention to the community, but instead they choose to make AI copy-and-paste vehicles (the anime OES), and copy-and-paste already existing in-game premiums (the next update was the F-16, if I’m correct).

I used to support Gaijin. Maybe they were trying, maybe they weren’t what everyone thought they were. But now I see it. Gaijin is obsessed with money, less about the game, more about profit. That’s why there are floating debris from destroyed tanks, why some tanks have missing machine guns, and why some tanks have their tracks sinking into concrete ground.

Gaijin adds many vehicles in every major update, but what if they left out the copy-and-paste vehicles and fixed bugs instead? What if they looked at what the community has been begging for (like the M1A2 Abrams being able to survive a 3BM42 on the LFP — 40 years of development should lead to change).

If you agree, just reply with “+1”.

Gaijin, start focusing on the community. Then this game has actual hope.

We appreciate your support for the game, however, this is not the way to create posts on the Forum.

Lumping many different topics into one won’t really get your point across, given your entire premise is for people to +1 this anyway, not really creating a constructive discussion. The risk for such a thread is to spiral into an unfocused conversation between many different topics.

Additionally, our CMs have already put out statement to answer some of the points you’ve mentioned:

AI:

“Copy pasted” vehicles:

Hundreds of bugs are addressed every single update, with the next one being one of the biggest when it comes to the addition of new mechanics and long-awaited features such as the maneuver kills:

Once again, we appreciate your feedback and we constantly have it sent to our devs, but we need to keep the Forum tidy while we’re at it.
