As soon as I heard about the new pillow, I went to support to try and get it (even if I had to pay) for my account. Unfortunately, I received a short and sad response! I won’t get the new pillow, as it’s not available for our region.
I’m disappointed that specific regions get exclusive items that look amazing when combined with other decorations and decals of the same theme, and the rest of the world can’t obtain them.
It’s really unsatisfying. I have over 10,000 hours of gameplay on Steam, and I love anime-related items. Now that I know I can’t get something related to this theme in-game, I’m genuinely saddened, as I collect these things in almost all games that hold events or give out items on specific days related to anime.
Sorry for saying this, but… What’s your problem, Gaijin? Put that pillow up for sale immediately, you snail mother trucker!
while it is unfortunate that DMM gets a lot of cool customization stuff that the rest of the world cant get, I think you went a little overboard with trying to get support to give you it
probably, it would be nice if they gave the rest of the world something similar to what DMM gets as a form of compensation for not being able to get it though
Is there a way to turn these off, so that i never will see them in battle?
I already get sad when i see a M109 going to battle together with my Tiger I Ausf. E, and if i will see one of these pillows on a tank I might get cardiac arrest.
Well technically, it is accurate for it to be on an m109 since it was used after the year Japan’s average temperature was 5000 degrees and they started making anime… XD (no offence to anyone)
It makes me laugh that people say they are a “collector” in a online game. the pillows are not from the snail, but from DMM that gets added to that game version.
1- This is not Gaijin’s decision to add the product, this is DMM’s. They developed it, they published it, and the contract they signed to be the Publisher of War Thunder in Japan allows them to do so.
2- You need to probably ask DMM, not Gaijin. DMM is the bigger fish in this situation.
It’s not about “pride”; it’s just about collecting. Just like some people have entire rooms filled with various LEGO cities or spaceships—spaces that could be used to add value to the home—they still prefer to display their LEGO pieces like trophies.
The collector doesn’t take pride in what they’re collecting; they just obtain what they want and keep it. If it’s something exclusive, like a rare card or a signature from a famous person who has passed, its value can appreciate beyond the original price.
Here, it’s not even about “price”—it’s simply a hobby. I try to collect as many anime-themed items as possible across different games. There’s no pride in it for me, only the satisfaction of looking at the game decorations and seeing that I have every pillow the game has offered, whether free or paid.
Well luckily they are marked as fictional (unlike a lot of other stupid decorators but same as the other pillows) so you will never see them if you disabled fictional stuff in the settings.
Thank God they are not available on our server… the other 4 should also be removed, but that’s just my private opinion, too bad for you that they are only available on DMM.
