A Request for Rework on the New Event Avatar: Plz STOP Involving Conflicts into the Game -

I’m thrilled to see the Jaguar IS being added to the game in the new event. It’s undoubtedly a marvelous addition to the current CAS lineup.

However, I’ve noticed a controversial aspect of the sixth-stage reward: an avatar that depicts a pilot with a distinct South Asian appearance shooting down a JH-7. (Which, As a player who’s familiar with Chinese aircraft, one can immediately recognize the fuselage.)

I always do appreciate the effort to introduce avatars with historical archetype into War Thunder. Historical events are set in stone. What passes, passes. But we all know about the ongoing tensions along the South Asian borders among several countries.

So, PLEASE DO consider maintain NEUTRALITY when it comes to deal with current conflicts, just as how you deal with other conflicts elsewhere in the world, and REFRAIN from bringing real-world divisions into the gaming community.

I sincerely hope that the art team can consider reworking this avatar. Thank you!

+1, this setting of a F16 piloted by a South Asian shooting down a JH7 isn’t even realistic, makes me want to question what kind of intent was behind its creation?
