A Line of Thai Aircraft for Japan!

Indeed!

Unfortunately, War Thunder reflects the globalization we see in real life.

Many nations utilize Leopard tanks due to their quality and cost-effectiveness. The same applies to F-16 aircraft.

Adressing the the REDFOR community, this trend is similar to what occurred with T-72 tanks and MiG aircraft in the past.

Furthermore, enhancing tech trees by “filling gaps” is more advantageous than adhering strictly to nationally produced vehicles.

If the game only featured domestically-built vehicles, we’d be left with just three playable nations in the modern era.

While I’m not fond of duplicate vehicles across nations, I must admit that I switched to playing minor nations because I grew weary of the major powers (jsut too uch vehicles bruh). And feels incredible good to not need to learn a new vehicle over and over again when I do need to grind some boring stuff.

As long as these smaller nations continue to have access to reasonably good vehicles, players can benefit from this diversity to progress through the game while potentially having access to their favorite vehicles.

I mean fine gripen, F-18, F-16 are all export fighters but please its so dumb to have to fight the same exact vehicle ur in, top tier is becoming 3.0-5.7 Ground with the shermans, like, guys at the dev team. Can you kindly atleast start making nato/warsaw(russia and gang)

Then we wont have to subject our brains to, heyyy, another 7 me!

F-16A OCU limited Air-to-Air Missile AIM-9P-4 only ?

RTAF F-16A ADF armed AIM-120B or AIM-120C-5 ?

AIM-9P-4 (stock) & Python 3 from F-5E FCU

But I might not worry F-5T FCU battle rating up to 13.0 if gaijin add Python 4

also reading it caused lots of problems with the navigation software, and hence was never installed in service

From someone I’ve spoken to, Python 3 could be used by F-16A OCU. While there’re no clear picture that I could found, there were articles mentioned its capability with Python 3.

My comment about this update being rushed and mostly copy paste is being proven more right every day

i would not react that way if they would not have added the gripen c to britain and italian tree before to the swedish, without any reason, and sweden on the same time was denied the good maveric on the gripen a

As if the f15 and f16 and other U.S. jets aren’t supplementing everyone’s line lol only bad when Germany suffers 🥲

Like, could they atleast stop mixing nations at top tier, i hate having to go, ”hey thats me! But not my teammate”

Does this mean it goes away, those who have it, keep it. Then, those who don’t can no longer see or grind it.

The R2Y2 here to stay for now as well?

Would be nice, but pointless as most, if not all, high tier games are all major nations against each other with minors sprinkled in

Sneaky little typhoon hint here 🤔

almost like the 2 other airframes they could add to the game that are in the Japanese air force are both too good to be added

I wouldn’t call the F-2A to good to be added. Looking at how Gaijin modelled the PESA I don’t see how an AESA would be overpowered. But then again, even if it is, isn’t there a Kfir coming as an event vehicle that has an AESA radar?

Oh joy, more copy-paste. As if the game didn’t have enough of that already.

The Thai F-5s are unique, the Alpha Jet by the Thais is a unique upgraded variant that has access to AIM-9Ps. Really the only pure copy paste here would be the Gripen and the F-16A OCU but every western nation has an F-16.

Please do your research before spouting nonsense.

Wonder if half of these will be DOA due to a mismatch of platform and weaponry.
