decompression either happens or it doesn’t, doing 0.3br moves doesn’t change anything. There is no gradient.
it literally made it far more playable at 9.3 then they basically undid those changes by moving down the J35XS and MIG-21 MF the F8U-2 didnt ever move if i remeber correctly but its missiles werent as broken in a downtier as there 18G and caged
there STAT based balancing is so flawed its not even funny i genuinely hate how they balance the game as stats lie quite often
Core of the problem is that GJ always introduces one or two FOTM per patch which make a whole BR range unplayable in up- and downtiers. As a consequence community asks for buffs/nerfs or something equal in performance. GJ does said changes and which creates the same problem at another place. I dont even start with the unwillingness of players to learn, thats a whole new can of worms I dont want to open since its also a societal problem.
There are several vehicles that in itself are really good but get screwed over by the BR they are set at. Introduce a wall to them so they only get uptiered/downtiered and they either perform too bad or too good.
In short for a balanced MM GJ would have to change its businessmodel of FOTM´s make quick cash and actually think about what they want to introduce and how to balance it. The only real chance for that to work would be a massive QoL patch (maybe even take the game down for a few days/weeks) to actually work on the spaghetti code, maps, servers, mechanics of the game, DM´s and FM´s, hitboxes etc. GJ is basically constantly counterflooding one leak to keep the game somewhat stable/playable, yet at some point the game will get so low in the water it risks sinking (boycott a few years ago).
