As I said, the max BR it would go up to would be 11.7, the BR where the Su-25T and Su-39 are, with their R-73s
I like the Su-24 being 11.3, I do not want Su-24 to become ~12.7.
Su-25 is not a supersonic aircraft… not comparable.

The Su-25T is at least semi-maneuverable, the Su-24 isn’t, it having afterburners and going 1100km/h against jets that are way more light and maneuverable + radar missiles (you aren’t notching anything in the Su-24M) wouldn’t make it so 4 R-73s be op, you would need to use when behind/on the side of people that didn’t notice you and praying to god they don’t start turning before you can get a lock, it’s the same case for the A-10C with it having HMD + AIM-9Ms, it’s not OP or broken but comparably to the Su-24M it’s way better, it wouldn’t need to go to 12.7 due to all the other characteristics, 11.7 would be a fine BR for it, and if we really wanna compare the Su-25SM3 is basically the A-10C but with less missiles and no HMD, and for some reason it’s 12.3

I indeed agree, both should receive their well deserved and historical missiles, but at least the F-111F is a really fast boi, but that wouldn’t be a reason for it not having it’s AIM-9Ms

Tornado Gr1 with 2x Aim-9Ls is already 11.7.
Tornado Gr4 with 2x Aim-9M is already 12.3
Then Su-24 with 4x R-73s is EASILY 12.3 as well.

Yes but no. The stupid “Su-24M2” modification is a terrible addition, only adding a single GPS bomb when in reality the Su-24M2 is a greatly upgraded aircraft. It’s like if the F-15A had an “F-15C” modification that only added AMRAAMs and Gaijin tried to peddle that as a fair and faithful F-15C MSIP.
I’d very much like to see a proper 12.3 Su-24M2 but it needs to be its own vehicle and not a homunculus of Su-24M and M2 components.
If it’s necessary to go to that BR for it to be a better plane to fly I’m fine with it, although I don’t agree with the tornados being that high of a BR either

Whether its got R-60s at 11.3 or R-73s at 12.0-12.3. It is still going to be an Su-24. The Tornado Gr4 is going to be DOA in ARB anyway, and extremely hard aircraft to play in ASB at that BR
The problem is that ARB sucks for anything meant for ground attack. Until we see an RB EC gamemode, I suggest learning to play sim instead. No markers means being sneaky works great, big maps mean you can actually evade the enemy team and actual PvE objectives means you actually have a role. Plus the 11.3 Brakcet is totally and completely dominated by the soviets at the moment and literally no one can do anything about the Mig-23MLD at that BR. So you would have total air superiority every match too.
Increasing the BR will mean you will go from dealing with F-4S with Aim-7Fs to dealing with F-4F ICEs with AMRAAM. Let alone the F-16s, Mig-29s and Su-27s.
Id advocate for a weaker A2A loadout to drop the BR down lower, see about getting it more like 10.7 by replacing the R-60Ms with just R-60s or overhaul ARB to make it better for ground attackers rather than opting for a move that would kill the Su-24 completely. Take it from someone who gave up trying to fight F-16s and Mig-29s in the Tornado Gr1 when its only got 2x Aim-9ls, and back when I use to play it in ARB, no CMs and probably a worse FM than the Su-24. Its not worth it
It would be the case if you actually had only Soviet planes in your team, however nowadays all teams have vehicles from all nations making it so you face the MiG-23MLD yourself in the Su-24… it getting R-60s is out of the question due to the Su-24M never using them, and it would still have faster planes destroying bases before it and yes the best solution would be an AIR-EC mode but that’s way harder than just adding missiles to a jet, it’s a really shitty situation where you need to evaluate what is easiest and within reach to get and not what would be better.
in ARB yes, In Sim no. Sim has nation vs nation matchmaking still. The absolute best that bluefor can throw against the Mig-23MLD in Sim is either the F-4E or FGR2. That is it. That is the absolute worse you wuld face.
Yeah I should play sim, however playing it on my grandma’s old notebook is basically impossible, I don’t have my good PC with me cause I’m staying at my grandparents house for a while, I have to say tho that war thunder runs really well on ULQ on old outdated hardware, it’s one of the reasons I love war thunder even though it can be rough sometimes

And we have the Su-24M2 in-game, it’s a modification inside the Su-24M, so technically it should get R-73s when you research that modification
