I started playing because of the possibility of playing with the famous Flying Fortress and in the future playing with the A-10 and SU-25, but currently I’m in Tier 4 and 5 in some nations. I’ve played with almost all the bombers and strike planes; I like these two lines, but they are the lines that the foreigners simply ignore for years, according to several veterans. My biggest disappointment was when the BR increased, it became more difficult to play with the bombers, where almost all of them had 13mm and 20mm guns with explosive ammunition that split the wing or tail in two, that is, when they didn’t hit the bombs. I spent all my crew experience on the gunners to max them out, but I discovered that they only shoot at 200m, and also discovered that it takes a long time for the gunners to reload their weapons. My worst experience was with the Americans, specifically the B-17, a large plane. The enemies get close to me and split my wing in two. The B-17 has .50 caliber machine guns with incendiary ammunition, which is fatal against Japanese planes. Any other aircraft that catches fire easily, while others rely on luck and precision to hit the engine, compared to other bombers from other nations that can easily cause high damage to the engine and wing, strike planes basically dive towards the enemy base, drop the bombs, and if they survive the journey and achieve this objective, and are very lucky, they can destroy some AA, artillery, and Light pillbox.
I was told on the forum that the bombers are undergoing a rework to their damage structure, but in my opinion, it would still require much larger maps, as well as improving the Gunner AI. Although players are resistant to it, having to maneuver, drop bombs, and control the gunners is too much to do at once, and firing at 200m would be better without a crew skill for the gunners. And in the case of CAS, they should increase the RP in GRB mode, since it’s impossible to perform their function effectively, just like with the bombers.
