Imagine calling the vulcan pod on UK phantom a ground attack weapon xD

Revealed when loadout profit multiplier is found in the codes. vulcan pod causes a decrease just as rockets and bombs xDDD

Also laughable to call some unguided weapons at high/ top tier “proper ground attack weapons”

Honestly if they really want to implement something like this, there needs to be a distinction of WW2, cold war and modern era.

If I was playing higher then yes. But most of those games were usually with the french corsair at 6.0 or 6.3 so nukes werent available.

And even if they would be I would have had to stay in tanls and get that amount of SP. Because you get to like 1200SP, spawn in a plane for 700 SP, get a bunch of kills with it, die. Then notice you have 1700SP and the plane costs 1400SP so you respawn in the same plane. I would have had to spawn a tank after the first plane and get around 700-800 more SP

I can agree with this. At WW2 even something like .50 M2 AP is a potent ground-strike weapon if you got good aim (which is impossible to actually classify as a CAS weapon given how you need AP rounds vs planes as well due to optimal way to kill being engine-kills or pilot-snipes (both of which are behind fairly significant armour more often than not. However, still worth noting to highlight differences I suppose).

I’ve already edited once, and then got warned again, unable to make any more edits. I’m tired of arguing with them. What I want to say is: “We need more skilled SPAA pilots, which is enough to counter any CAS” (and the CAS vs. AA interaction is actually very interesting). But they’d rather just label it as “you want more planes.” I even suspect some of my SPAA teammates are those same people. Unfortunately, I happen to be a skilled tank player, CAS player, and SPAA player.

Those are extremely bad changes. All they will do is punish good tank players.

How does planes taking longer to engage tanks hurt good tank players???

You lots of kills in tank > you’re alive for a long time > you spawn a plane > game ends before you even reach the battlefield because you performed well, and because the flight from AF to battlefield is needlessly long.

You think that good tank players spawn in CAS. That is where you are wrong. If I do really well and stay alive long I might or might not spawn a plane. If there is barely enough time to get into a tank and get more kills why would you spawn in a plane.

You are confusing good tank players with good CAS players. A tank player is not neccesarily a CAS player. They could just be there to actually play tanks in the only mode tanks can be played in.

Yep, most players spawn CAS, especially the ones good enough to get the SP for it.

Planes are faster.

They are one and the same 90% of the time.

There’s no such thing as “CAS players.” There’s people who only play tanks, and there’s people who play tanks and planes.

No. There is in fact players that spawn cheap tanks and rush caps and such just so they can get into a plane asap. Those are Cas players.
