A-6E Return?

Dose anyone know when the a-6e will return like i see people using it in a good majority of my matches in ground between 9.7-11.7 and they do good too so i want to know when it will come back so i can use it in ground or air if any won knows tho

Really just up to gaijin. Idk the last time it was available, but I know it has a maiden flight day. I could see this:

The A-6E TRAM represents an A-6E with Target Recognition something something and carries an impressive load of A2G but is subsonic

Let’s hope…

Variants both before the current TRAM and after it would both be possible and welcome, and high time for such an iconic aircraft, and the true strike backbone of US naval aviation for a long time.

Unfortunately any lazer bombs will lose its effectivity when more one-click SPAA players will learn to tap second click. High ranks bombing already not work, 11.3 BR more and more players who intercepts everything. Just matter of time when 10.7-10.0 will counter everything dropped :(

Skippers AGM123 can operate F/A 18 A and one modification A-7. We have those jets but no skippers yet

Well, mixed GRB isn’t the only game mode: The A-6E TRAM is great in Sim EC, for example, but admittedly suffers in Air RB, as do most attackers…

For laser guided bombs to be actual as useful and important as they are IRL, WT would have to go through a few changes, and include actual point targets that make sense, or better modular mission targets, that would make precision strikes effective.

I worry that any changes may oversaturate strikers/bombers in modes which would affect farm. Not enough objectives - players fight each other for it. Too many objectives - new players come to increase those fights for objectives

Hm, I’d actually argue the contrary is the case:

Right now we have for example 4-5 mission targets, so all are rushing to them. Not so much an issue in Sim, there are usually enough of them around and they respawn quickly and reliably. In RB however it’s a veritable race for those targets, and at higher tiers it’s easy to kill a whole base in one go - if you get there in time. Or two.

Those mission targets are always just single, quite large (actually about double the size of the visual model of the base) area target: Drop your ordonnance anywhere, and you damage/kill that base.

A modular mission target, with individual buildings, vehicles, equipment could on the other hand not as easily be destroyed by just dropping a load of bombs on it in a row: you may destroy a few targets along the bombs impact line, the rest would still stand.

A modular mission target would mean that several players could engage the same base, and would actually be needed to kill it, and all (or a certain percentage) of sub-targets would need to be killed.

Such a modular target would then be interesting for use with precision weapons, targeting individual sub targets.

Farming RP is a fundamental and integral part of the game. 99% of players only interested into grinding. I’ve been playing sim battles a little bit time ago but can surely say sim battles aren’t profitable at all . It’s easier to get lucky and take 1 base or return to base and wait for base respawn in ARB rather than sitting in sim battles for 30 minutes doing the same.
As I told, re-working sim battles may oversaturate battles, first of all chinese bots will benefit from it ,Gaijing won’t step on same racks again. Disabling referrals in Naval recently has showed that Gaijin had lost their fight against bots, they can’t counter them except nerfing farm and benefits of regular players. They already nerfed farm because of bots in sim battles. So, I doubt there will be any positive changes. Playing sim battles now only for personal fun.

Are you pulling those stats out of your crystal ball? There are thousands of players who have been playing for years and stay at the bottom of the BR because they prefer World War II. Not everyone plays to grind.

Right now I’m only playing air sims with WWII planes, so you can imagine I’m not grinding much, but that’s not why I play at all.

And in sims there are always ways to complete objectives. I played the A6 a bit in sims and the guided bombs are a blast. You can easily make 200k-300k sl in an hour, and I don’t really remember the XP, I never paid attention, but it goes up pretty fast too.

Maybe not as profitable as other game modes, but personally I play for fun, not for any kind of profit.

Yeah, right now am “forced” to play Air RB a bit for the current BP Challenge killing 100 ground targets (which for some unknown reason doesn’t include sim. Again.), and really find it very frustrating gameplay for attackers:

Sure, you can do mud-moving and grind the challenge in RB, but there’s zero tactical possibility to evade enemy air: You have a large crosshair painted on your forehead that’s visible from over 10km away, and are minced-meat quickly when the two teams converge.

So it’s basically spawn - kill a handful (if lucky) ground targets - die - repeat.

I look at amount of premium users in the battles, who buys 12.0 BR to grind up. And there is reason why it happens, after reaching first 5th rank vehicle, researching new vehicles become problematic, harder and long in stock , people pushed to stay WW2 vehicles for hundreds of hours. 80% don’t pay at all, Gaijin stated that and yet there is someone who thinks majority of those low ranks stay for fun, no, they stay because they can’t have enough SL to buy next vehicle, crew and sometimes repair. But I will not say about everyone, of course there are those who plays for fun, but not as many as could imagine.

Having just premium account playing GRB/ARB I can gain 200-300 SL too, sometimes even more because game awards you for kills, but it depends on luck, not skill. I would like to have A-6E , it would be good addition to tech tree mixing clons and adding new uniq weapon for USA, for 10.3/7 that won’t s*CK in GRB.

Years ago, you could gain more SL and RP playing sim battles, before Chinese bots oversaturated battles to grind and sell accounts / event vehicles. Now Sim battles only for fun, I wrote in my last comment. Here I won’t argue.

only if you have like tons of boosters activated. in a 5.7 germanly premnium linup: tiger ost and west, Vk45.01, pahnter d, i make with onl ypremnium and without boosters around 50-60 k sl with 6-8kills(without any cap).

Topic is about Intruder so I took example of 7-8 ranks, non-premium jet but premium account without boosters. But it’s luck, when missile hit target and when being dodged. Non-premium bombers I haven’t touched lol, only Chinese high ranked bomber
