Am I wrong or is the A-10C not supposed to have gun (PAC) on while shooting? It’s modeled in the cockpit but is not a feature and is still very unstable while strafing ground units. Granted I play sim so it may not affect RB players but it should be a feature no???
If they gave me the option I’d just turn it off for dog fighting.
If it locked ground targets almost like a SPAA locks air targets and aimed the plane for you it would just be a head ache.
sorry I know its not an answer to your query but what does PAC even mean?
I assumed it was the system the locks the A-10’s flightpath to stabilize the gun when it’s firing. It basically helps fly by wire for the duration of the gun pull to stop drifting off the target or unintended yaw etc. It’s a waste of time modelling it in War Thunder IMO.
i mean the instructor basically does that anyways
you point your mouse on the target and the instructor will do everything else
Agreed.
thanks
I guess I could see it for sim but that’s a very niche forgotten mode for gaijin to actually decide to code something for.
man whats that mode, never heard about it
