I know I made a post on USSR ground but I’m really enjoying USA ground and I’m nearing rank 6, love the historical value of the A-10, but the main question is, is it worth it on sale?
Depends on reason.
If you need pure cas jet there is much better tech tree variant at 10.7. Besides that there are 2 corsairs at 10.3 and 10.7. And premium a6 intruder but this one is unavailable rn and nobody knows when gaijin will be selling it again. At bit higher br there is f4e and f5e. At lower brs there are f100d, f4c, squadron a4e early, a4b, event fj4b.
If you need to grind air tree, there are better options like one of prem fighters or harrier na. Bought harrier and grinded a10a late real quick in sim with jdams. Also harrier can be useful in grb but you either see your ir mavs get shot down by free pantsirs or hunt for those pantsirs and other stationary sam systems with jdams but become unable to deal with any moving targets.
Expanded my comment a bit because there are some cas jets at higher ranks which may offer interesting gameplay besides a10a late I mentioned in first variant of reply.
Also you should check out youtube channel named Hunter. That guy has tons of cas videos including jets I listed above.
