So, how am I supposed to hit the UD’s weak spot in a 9.3 Swedish centurion it’s the whole thing is a bush from the front?
with experience and in relation to surrounding terrain you can estimate where the weakspot is even if you cant see it properly
you know what size the tank is, you said its facing yourself frontally and you know the tanks angle from the terrain it is on.
if you think bushes make you invincible go buy some bushes and watch yourself get clapped by experienced guys
In the heat of combat I’m going to remember the exact location of its weak spot when I can’t even ID what it is.
When in doubt aim for gun/breech area.
the absolute worst take of November
literally the ‘why not just always hit the weakpoint’ argument. Essentially dumbing down every argument into ‘the only armor a tank has is its weakest point’. Which is blatantly untrue and arguing in bad faith. That the 9.3 has to hit tiny weakpoints at distance where the opposite can shoot literally anywhere is why it is unbalanced. That 10.3s regularly have significant tech advantage in thermals, UAVs, speed, depression, ect compoind the problem.
In a game of 1-hit kill, the tank that can bounce a shot at all is king. Even if the armor CAN be penned in weak points, every shot doesn’t hit weak points even with the best players in the game.
Get this.
HE PLAYS EXCLUSIVELY GROUND ARCADE.
THE MODE WITH PEN INDICATORS.
9.3 Is challenging, it’s not hell.
A good portion of kills in 10.3 are snap shots where one or both tanks are moving. Even with indicators, those shells aren’t going exactly where you are firing. Even with a fast reloading tank for the BR, a miss or failed pen is often death. He should know better even in the context of AB (i know this is the RB forum)
theres so many clues. the nations youre playing against. the battlerating. the sound of the enemy vehicle if youre at close quarters. how long they take to reload. what the barrel looks like. and if you cant do it then you have to accept that losing is part of this game, too. you cant expect to kill everyone in a disadvantanged situation of a stronger enemy and lack of skills.
You should have seen the tam2IP when it had almost 3 tons less AND was at 8.7 (/lore it was 9.0 post decompression then went to 9.3 few months later /lore). I agree in reality it should be somewhere between 9.3 and 9.7.
Also, getting massively outclassed by tanks in full uptiers is just true across the whole spectrum of BRs, IMO even worse at lower brs.
