I’m a main mostly everything player. I usually stick to low tier but I dabble in higher. have a lot of favourite planes for US in this bracket. One thing that irks me a bit is the painfulness of planes in this br. Out of 23 games today as US 9.3 every game was an up tier by either .7 or a full br. Makes it very hard to use planes. I understand stand that spaa is what it is, and that GRoUnD BaTtLeS ShOuLd OnLy Be TaNkS. But it’s not. Planes exist for a reason, and as someone who gets CAS’ed a lot I understand it and it doesn’t bother me. But it seems a bit ridiculous that planes like the F3H2 Demon and F100 Super Sabre, planes with no ccrp, or ccip for rockets, and no flare/chaff, have to face missile SPAA extremely often. Both are favourites of mine and it is nearly impossible to get even within 12k ft to the battlefield. Maybe 1/50 battles you get no AA, but it’s a rarity. Bad enough they face radar SPAA, which already makes it a nightmare, but factor in a ZSU 23,most common enemy, Or any other missile SPAA and they become unusable. Can’t go high or else your dodging missiles for 5 minutes and still get bonked by one, can’t go low because you will still get bonked by missiles or radar assisted guns. There’s no good play with them. RU SU17’s get ccip for rockets which makes them useable, as does Saab’s for Sweden, and the alpha for Germany. All at 8.7-9.0. but the 9.0-9.3 F3 and F100 get nothing but sheer luck and a monthly payout to the snail to keep it happy. Seems like GR RB BR is a bit high for both of them. Especially with 10.0 and 10.3 uptiers where they become utterly useless with SPAA spam. Either BR change or ccip is due for both of them, as on paper they are very good planes with great capability, just a shame you can never use them to that potential without getting swatted out of the sky before the battlefield even renders in. Just my 2¢ based opinion.
The Su-17 is 9.7
F-100D gets bullpups, much better than unguided rockets
A wall of words
9.3 in GRB (Edit: neverminded, I confused the 7 and 17)
and at the same 9.3BR USA gets the A-4E Early with 60 CMs and Walleyes that can point lock from 10km then auto acquire a target once its in track range of about 3.5km. sure it sucks that its squadron and there is no tech tree version but its strong as hell for its BR.
it and the the F-84 at 8.3 have CCRP which can be quite effective for dive bombing accurately from outside SPAA range. fly at 3 to 5 km alt, then when you see the tracer streams dive on it, drop the SPI box on the end where the SPAA is and pull up while holding release.
Its 9.7 in GRB
Oh, I was looking at the Su-7, my bad
All good
If every plane above 11.3 was decompressed to have their same BRs as they do in in air battles, then vehicles like IRIS-T could move to 14.0, and it would work its way down till vehicles like Gepard are at 9.3, and vehicles like Gepard 1A2 are at 10.7.
Sadly, that would be an actually reasonable thing for Gajin to do, so it’s never gonna happen.
My bad about su, I went off memory of last time I used it
I can’t even get close enough for bullpups, I follow Hunter on YT and followed his latest video on them and I still get downed before they even hit
I mean that’s kinda the point of a post yeah?
An unreadable post
I am not a squadron player, do not have it. I go off of tech tree, non premium included. The F100D doesn’t have it for bombs, used a custom load out of 4x 1000 and the 38 FFARS and I had no reticule for my 1000s. I don’t think they f84 has it anymore,it did at one point
Then don’t read it? It’s not hard to clicked back off of it
Are you serious, you really can’t space out the sentences like a more reasonable person? 😭
Yes I am, no need to nitpick, I find it readable. I have punctuation where I figured I would need it. Does it really matter? Kinda off the point of the post… Like I said, if you can’t understand it, then don’t read it. Go to another post that is easier for you to understand.

I think you’re confusing CCIP and CCRP.
CCIP shows where your bomb will land if you drop it right now.
CCRP requires you to set a target point, fly towards the target, and “bomb release permission” will not allow you to drop until the right time.
Lots of early vehicles, including the F-84B, F-84F, and F-100D have CCRP but not CCIP. Sadly, the CCRP on the F-100D is bugged so it pretty much always overshoots.
no CCRP, not CCIP, CCRP is “Continuously Computed Release Point” it doesn’t give you a recital to aim, it uses the computer to calculate the bomb release point to hit a designated target.
You use the red SPI box to designate a target point and the computer will either indicate when to drop or if you set for auto-release, you just hold the drop key and it will release at the correct point to hit the target, like this (this is just a quick test flight demo):
Both it and the F-84 seemed to have a much larger margin of error then when I was playing the F-84 regularly, but that could just be the lack of the weapons maintenance crew skill in test drive.
It used to be super accurate when combined with dive bombing, I actually got reported for aim botting for using it!
Every tier and nation gets uptiers, that’s matchmaking problem. Agree with that, uptiers s@@ks.
And what’s the reason planes exist?? Can you explain???
So you telling me, getting killed by something you can’t counter doesn’t bother you, but when you getting destroyed by AAs it’s problem?? And WHy ShoUld iT BotHEr us??
As CAS, you have all the tools to deal with any opposition, you just need to use brain and proper plane. And let me tell you secretly, not all planes are good for attacking ground units, as not all tanks and AAs are good for their role on battlefield, you like something doesn’t mean it should be OP. I like archer, it’s cool piece of art, but it’s not effective… have to write thread and ask for buffs.
