But haven’t used it a lot. As per line-up I bring 7 vehicles for Germany 8.3 in the off chance I do play it.
So yeah, I don’t find them unplayable, but I do think 8.3 is a bit of a victim of BR changes if you don’t have the Turm III. M48A2 is nothing worth getting out of bed for, and you’re better off uptiering the Gepard.
Better off playing 7.7 or 8.0 in the meantime unless you do have Turm III.
No idea why that thing is 8.3, when Israel Magach 5 is at 8.0 with the same type of ammunition, and then we have Olifant Mk1 which is fully stab, having DM23 and also at 8.3.
To be fair, 8.3 is directly below 9.3, well known for the T-72 spam from Italy, Germany, and Russia. Also has Tam if I remember correctly. Also gets spam from Wolfpack (unless that’s 9.7 now).
Well it’s kinda wierd tank it has 4 seconds reload, good enough round, stab, turret with enough crew and ammo to die after first pen and protection against .50 cal.
Ok i see that but at the same time it could hurt or help so that makes more sense but usually i find almost half my team is dead and usually its the ppl that bring 1-2 tanks. But yeah i still see what you mean
Respawning is better no matter what, even when the player is cannon fodder which still indirectly apply map pressure, it just becomes more expensive for the team to have these type of players and that’s about it, that’s why you can check if the player is a cannon fodder or not by looking at their record.
Better shhhhhhhhhhhhhh because it appears that you also only have one vehicle in your lineup at 11.7, which is the Clickbait :p
Except for the TAM, Gep, and maybe HOT all German TT ground vehicles between 8.0-9.0 are pretty terrible. In particular there’s nothing with any amount of armour. Germany is also one of three nations without a stabilized 8.0 or 8.3 (or even 8.7 for that matter) MBT which is a pretty big disadvantage.
But it gets better starting with the excellent 9.3 lineup
Uuuuum no? I bring the clickbait, the a10, xm1 chrystler, the scorpion, jumbo pershing and the locust… So try again last time i checked thats more than 1 tank…
You respawn in those to donate more sp to the enemy team and then drain your team’s ticket? That is not a proper lineup up bro, the minimum would be IPM1 and M1A1 as backups, which technically means you only have one vehicle at 11.7, XM1 could flank and kill but its 9.3 for a reason.
My advice is you should play more games before jumping into top tier as you are not ready yet, having 20 kills to 120 deaths is only a deadweight for the team, don’t expect every match to be carried by good players.
i find the previous variant way more useful cuz the HOT version is just so badly designed, the turret wont turn more than few degrees horizontally, missile is slow and you have to stop in order to fire so if you get caught in movement you’re screwed lol
it preys on unaware potatos you find in the battlefield but any guy who noticed its presence has advantage over it, for the same reason it’s very unreliable in arcade… the previous version in the other hand has two missile with much better horizontal traversing and you can potentially hit two targets or correct a miss fire, you can also turn around corners for ambush and have the 2 missile ready just in case the tank rushes at you… if it was F&F, HOT would be amazing, incredible even but it’s just so bad, wiesel its only better due to it’s size and top attack missile but thats all
The Olifant is uh, very slow, at thirteen and half horsepower per tonne, and with poor gun handling (18 degrees a second horizontal and 4 degrees a second vertical).
The M48A2 has seventeen horsepower per tonne and 24 degrees a second horizontal traverse.
Really though the M48A2 is a (unstablised) M60 analog and should just loose the DM23 and drop down to 8.0, Maybe replace it’s spot in the 8.3 line up with a swiss Pzr 68 or something
I have to admit, I play Britain 8.3 very often, but I never bring that out (even for British tanks it is captain slow). I’d rather bring out the Vickers Mk.3. Though, who plays Britain 8.3 for MBTs, lol. It’s all about the Falcon, ZA-35, ZT3A2.
me Although the Olifant is slow, it’ll bully the hell out of pretty much anything at range, LRF + snappy ADFSDS works wonders at 8.3. It’s my preferred 2nd spawn, though on maps like Sands of Sinai and the fields of x maps its my go to first spawn. (1st spawn - Scimitar/ZT3A2/Vijayanta. 2nd spawn - Olifant/Spaa/warrior)
For sure. I guess for me, I’m really playing that lineup for the Falcon. Small map. Big map. Falcon. Spraying and praying my way across the battlefield. I love how stacked Britain is at 8.3, though. To top things off, the Falcon can penetrate and nuke the Turm IIIs turret from any angle, so it’s just a bad time for Germany all round when facing Britain at that BR.
