75mm A.P.C.B.C.H.E. 'AP-Composite' ammunition for the British - Ingenuity in the Desert

I agree in principle, but the fact is, despite constant pushes for it, Gaijin has had 10 years to address the huge disparity in performance between full calibre solid shot and APHE (which has absolutely no basis in reality), and yet they have failed to do so.

Yeah, in an ideal world, ammunition selection at low tier would actually be balanced (you’d think this would be a pretty low bar), but it isn’t, and that doesn’t seem like it is going to change. So the next best option is unfortunately to beg for scraps of APHE wherever they can be found.

Cause the vote failed to pass and every time I think about it, it takes the potential fun out of any vehicle that relies on non-meta ammo and we’ll see USSR, Germ and USA APHE completely dominate for another ten years.

As I remember it, the vote failed because people didn’t trust gaijin to implement it correctly, not because it was a bad idea. Gaijin haven’t made any more suggestions (that I’ve seen, at least) or pushes since that, which indicates they aren’t that interested in addressing it any longer.
So they still fail to do anything about, likely because they aren’t interested in fixing it.

as a german main who has never touched a british tank but has heard horror stories about british ap id give them that so maybe the stories get a bit less

People talk bad about British AP way too much but pzgr is just better in everyway the 17pdr is personally in my top 5 when it comes to guns
