I will say, I find this shot very doable when playing Tiger IIs and Jagdtigers. I don’t know why it’s not showing in that protection analysis but there’s also a spot on the LFP that you can pen (exactly in the middle at the bottom, halfway between the add on tracks). Should be doable with Ho Ri too I would think.
Ofc the IS-4 player can mitigate this with positioning, but in my experience they rarely do because they’re not used to having to think about their armour, lol. I got a healthy dose of “cheater/hacker” accusations after oneshotting IS-4s with the long 88, will never not be funny.
Also thank god the muzzle brake makes it easier to barrel them.
Correct. Though if the meaning was “it can one hit kill a Tutel in the cupola” then it’s true, it just isn’t guaranteed to happen. I think it depends a lot on how much ammo the Tutel has. My standard routine is to shoot left cupola (driver), right cupola (commander), then left cupola again (new driver) and on the occasion where the first shot gives me the kill, I thank the preternatural spirit of BVVD and move on
I share your overall assessment. The mobility is the big thing justifying their BR differences - unfortunately tanks like the Ferdi are not good at winning you matches, even if they can get kills easily, and the fact that the Ferdi already exists in a lineup with a big mobility deficit compounds the problem. But I’m convinced you are correct about Ho Ri BR placement.
It doesn’t seem particularly hard. But it’s definitely much harder than for an IS-4M to penetrate a Ho-Ri.
From my time playing the Tiger 2 long ago, it felt very rare to have that happen. Of course Ho-Ri can overpen the cupola and not kill it as well, but that’s different.
it would likely be 6.7, but ya the ccip is what giving it such a high br in the first place.
again simple solution everyone, instead of just killing the dang thing, we just remove the problem child ammo, the zuni’s and change the hydra 19 count pods to the hydra 7 count pods.
normally i would agree, but with ccip theyre accurate enough where you only need to fire 4 volleys to get a kill on pretty much anything. hence why with the 7 count pods if you bring all 4 thats 7 kills generally~
Hydras have been extremely inaccurate in my experience using them on this plane. Even hitting just one open top SPAA would require half your rocket load if using the small pods.
I say just limit CCIP range so you have to get within SPAA range.
Maybe… He’s just good at the game ? I have ak/d of 3.3 on the Heavy Tank No°6 (regular 6.0 Tiger I)… Does it mean it is OP and go at 7.0?
And by the way the ground/kill per death of the JPN L-39 is 3.89, which is just in the average for ground attacker.
By examples, A-10C have a k/d on gound target of 5.9, Wyvern-S4 3.06 k/d, A-10A 2.4, Pucara is around 2.5, J-22M1 is at 3.6, …
Skewed by bot kills in arb. There is no way you can get 6 kd in a10c in grb. And somehow su25t, much better cas jet, has much worse stats. That doesnt make sense.
