Well, this is not the first time the USSR has received equipment that has not even begun testing.
We have in game things that didn’t even exist in the way they are pictured…at best …
I’m not talking about the E-100 and other paper projects, but about equipment that hasn’t even entered service yet.

J-20 is going to be strange plane if its true with it having no gun.
J-20 won’t be the only one without guns. Both F-35B and F-35C would also be missing guns and would require external gun pods

Yeah, gunna be a mjaor issue.
if they make stealth too good, they will never be engaged by ARH missiles and the fights will just be guns and IR only. which would be really boring. Also stealth vs stealth would just be like a group of drunk people trying to find each other.
If they make stealth too weak, people will complain like mad that they got shot down.
Though im of the opinion they should only have marginally smaller RCS than the current top tier gen 4.5s, the advantage should only be in kinematics.

Yeah, I’ve reached similar results testing the F-117 against airborne AESA. Which is very promising for a plane like the F-22. Wouldn’t be surprised if the F-22 is hard to detect past 15km.
do note the plan is for rank 9 for the first major update I think we will have br changes come with it too
Is it. Im guessing more like June/July update. With the march being ARM & SEAD, maybe some Submarines, etc.

yeah the stealth stuff should be when most people can play plus we got Inf being worked on to
But thise are the weak AESAs, much better ones are yet to be added
Eurofighters radar should do 60km ahainst f35, which is 1500 gaas trms
Then there are better radars in range like apg 77 and 81 and thr chinese gan ones

Purely out of curiosity, from where do this value come from? Manufacturer? Exercice reports? These seems like awfully precise value that would be highly classified usually.

Im not aware of a specific value. All I really know is that the ECRS has a 200km+ range and 560 deg/sec scan rate (which gaijin has set to 190 deg/sec)
But I do recall something about it being designed to counter stealth and can likely detect very small objects at long distances (like drones for example)
But it could be a figure for IRST rather than Radar.
Statement by an unnamed EADS expert in a Korean times article from 2011 lol. So maybe not that accurate
