At 14.7 they will. Perhaps at 16.0 so they can’t meet 4.5 gen fighters
Brother have you looked at ranks 6-7 compression? 5th gen will absolutely face early 4.5th gen.
Heck, even now they didn’t bother making the eft aesa and su30sm2 higher than the previous eft and su30sm

Not really, if i remember…
If they make them tier 10 , the gen 5s, they won’t meet t8s.
Probably they will bring everything else late gen 4,5 with AESAs and/or improved armament (meteors, 120Ds , R-77M etc.) at t9 and t10 will be only gen 5s.
We know they have an allergy in tuning BRs and decompression…so at least this way they can avoid that bomb. Also if they play right (IF) , they can decompress lower tiers …in the tier, without making them unplayable.
Example:
Let’s say they give F-14B an update in armament, fix the Phoenix -speed and G-load -, give it 9Ms and 7P Sparrows and give more modes to radar…you can’t have it 13.0 . But uptiering it currently (with 8 tiers) it will go against…EFTs, Rafales, 30SM/SM2s and even F/A-18Es/F-15C GE can be superior by seer armament volume and radar and even if they bring a 14D in an update.
But with the change, it won’t meet them. You can uptier 14B at 13,7 this way and be fine. It’s not that it will change much , because it will be more capable with the fixes, but it won’t dunk everyone in F-4s , while it will be better against what it already meets.
That goes for t8s as well , when they bring gen 5s. You don’t have to go BR 18.0…they can be 15.0 and they won’t meet t8s. Only t9s.
I know i’m much into ^assumption^ , but i can see it play that way. It’s another way of decompression.
The bad thing is they could have done things like this already, , the problem is now it gets clearer what the actual top tier will be… but when we played Phantoms and MiG 21s , for example, that was a momentary top tier , they didn’t care .
