40 New Camouflages Now Available in the WTCS Trophy VI!

Introducing the WTCS Trophy VI, containing 40 unique camouflages in both semi-historical and fictional styles for air and ground vehicles! For this trophy, we’ve continued our trend of covering new and older vehicles across various Battle Ratings, alongside some that have no camouflage options as well.

Like the previous Esports trophy, the new trophy can be obtained by simply playing regular War Thunder battles. In the future, it’ll also be possible to obtain by participating in Esports events in War Thunder tournaments with an increased chance! PlayStation and Xbox players can purchase the trophy in the Item Shop for Golden Eagles.

To open it, you’ll need to purchase a key on the Market (income is shared with the authors of the camouflages). You can either activate the coupon on your account, or trade it on the Market to get Gaijin Coins (GJN). A trophy can be sold as well!

To unlock the trophy, you’ll need an “Esports” key that can be purchased on the Market for GJN.

I’ve got like 10+ chest and enough GE to open most of them but why would I do that for a common decal gajin

I got so excited thinking this was for the Swedish version. It’s for the Thai version in the Japanese tech tree… :'(

Makes sense for the theme though :P

Tbh, almost all of them look crap, at least for me.

I usually like both the historical and the fictional skins, but this time I have to agree that it looks rather underwhelming. I can’t put my finger on why, but most of these just feel very generic. Some are also too “noisy”, look at the KPZ-70 skin, there is too much going on, almost horror vacui. I think the four I would salvage from this trophy are the 262, the Tu-2, the Scorpion and the Jackson. The other ones I’m just not interested in at all.

I liked the skins from WTCS Trophy V way more. I prefer historical & semi-historical, fictional is ok too if it looks authentic. But this Trophy VI series looks just awful.

Some of these are quite nice. I may get a few keys because I have had good luck getting vehicles out of them lately.

Edit: To be clear I love fictional camos for jets. On the ground I prefer historical camos.

Agreed, though sometimes I wish they would add these to the vehicles to just buy for GE or fully commit to historical looks cause here’s the irl version and the game version.

I don’t mind some semi historical but for stuff like I posted above I would’ve preferred a historical camo over the honey comb design.

Honestly I think gaijin would make a lot more money just selling the camos for like 600 GE since more people who can’t gamble would be able to buy what they want.

Because it’s semi historical, the in game camo is like someone’s take on the historical version. Not personally my preference but to each their own.

599 GE with no way to get what you want and exchange rates are trash.

Honestly great design to stop people from wanting to waste GE on it is by making the worst system possible
