I mean there not much to talk about, Cv90 on 10.7 gets 6 Spikes, Freccia even gets 10, also on 10.7 and then we have Puma, KF41 and Namer Tsrikhon. All of them are on 11.0 or higher (most likely because they have a little bit better armor) and all of them get 4 Spikes on 11.0+ Why? 4 Spikes is not enough, from 4 maybe 1-2 hit. Because Spikes are stupid and you cant do anything with them urself, Six like CV90 is okay, still not good but okay, and i think for what the missles are, and compared to other vehicles, they should all get at least 8 missle, 6 would be also fine, not good but fine, but having 4 missles that arent even that good, and moving so high in BR is worthless. !NEED! 6-8 missles.
If you have 4 missiles that aren’t even that good, why would you want more?? Sorry, I haven’t played any vehicles with Spikes but the whole things seems a little counterintuitive
Quantity and Quality. If you have not many things, but those are good quality, its the same like having bad things but a lot of them.
Like Germany got Power in WW2 with not many but very good tanks, and America and russia got it back with maybe not the absolute best tanks, but it where a lot of them. So, more Spikes, more Quantity, and so they get better in the end.
Fair enough but is it accurate to the IRL counterparts. Can the Puma or KF41 or Namer carry 6-8 missiles? If not, a BR reduction may be better suited
Are they bad? it kills me often enough to make me crew the T-80UM2 that I abandoned two years ago.
- I played Puma, CV90 and Freccia and i can tell you, just because of having 10 spikes, the freccia is the best of them, not even having the bvvest 30mm of them all. And the Puma is the worst, because after 4 shots you NEED to go to Cap, and that will kill you a lot of times because that 30mm dont get better when you up it from 10.3 to 11.0.
Spikes are dice roll. Get 6 and it is a kill even on a t90.
But the true power is how annoying those are.
100% kill on helos, and spamming those spikes gives easy points for CAS , just spot, shoot and annoy players.
Imagine open field spawn maps, like firearc or tunisia where you can just spam 10 spikes and enemy cant do a thing (but smoke).
And yes, PUMA should be lowered to 10.7 or get a buff on AHEAD rounds , and amount of spikes.
Also repair time of top optics should be lowered since it is repairing those usually more than playing time :D
in the freccia theyre pretty good cause you can kinda just throw them constantly since you have 10
Yes. But to do what you men you just need more. You can do that “be annoying” 4 times and then you have to expose yourself very hard, needing to be on a Cap. CV90 can do it 4 times, and STILL have 2 left, to defend yourself. And with Puma you ave to go basicly naked.
- and Yes, Freccia beeing 10.7 with >10<!! Spikes is bullshit too. Like how do you make it so one vehicle can do it way to much and some other cant do it at all. Freccia can be very annoying while Puma is naked after 4 shots.
yeah but without the spikes the freccia is a 9.3 vehicle whereas the puma is a 10.3 vehicle without the spike
Heli Spikes and things like Freccia can be annoying, but i dont see why Puma etc. should suffer because of that. 4 Spikes is not enough. Even if they hit, those missles are stupid af, and hit the MOST armored pard. Its a Top down missle but it feels like its trying to down top and the Fire and Forget is also more Forget, than Fire. Only the Heli Spikes do what they’re supposed to.
As i said. They got more armor, but that doesnt make it better that one can shoot like crazy beeing on 10.7 and the other one gets more armor but only can kill 4 MBT’s and needing to go to Cap to have a chance of killing MBT’s that are not stupid players.
its a lot more than just a difference in armour, the general usability at a higher BR of the puma is much better, especially when you do run out of spikes, along with the survivability difference that you mentioned but kinda underplayed
PUMA is currently unplayable for me because of the amount of modules they added in the turret, there is even a stupid driver system that once damaged it prevents you from driving. Like trillion ways to go wrong when you get hit, completely overshadowed the problem I had with spike lol
There where some difficulty’s driving… fair, but it made a nice Bunker-Cannon with Tracks.
