I would like to suggest the 4 Rad Tropen Panzerspähwagen, which was a trail vehicle, based on the 234 hull, but shortened, only 4x4 to replace the Sd.Kfz.222, however beyond the Trail vehicle, it never entered production.
It was to be armed with the 2 cm Hängelafette 38 as allready found on the Sd.Kfz.234/1, a direct improved model to the Hängelafette 30 of the 222.

It would in game be a slightly improved Sd.Kfz.222, with more armor of fully frontally 30mm, at a stronger angle, similar speed, but also slightly improved armarment, beeing a coax Mg 42 instead of Mg 34.

History:
On 21 July 1941, the development of a new light reconnaissance armored vehicle (Leichter Panzerspähwagen), to replace the Sd.Kfz.221/222/223 was issued to companys. It was to use as many components of the planned Schwerer Panzerspähwagen 234 as possible and assambled and supplied by Büssing NAG, like the older Panzerspähwagen befor it, with the armored body by Horch.

The full front (instead of just lower hull) was to be 30mm angled to be immune against 20mm guns, with the rest against 7,92mm S.m.K ammo, beeing angled 8mm plates.
Powered by the 6 cylinder air cooled Diesel Tatra V 910 engine with 125 Ps, which was basically half of the V 12 engine of the Sd.Kfz.234.
The vehicle was to reach the same top speed of 85 km/h on roads and the Hängelafette 38, armed with the 2 cm KwK 38 L/65 and Mg 42, which offered good firepower against, infantry, light armored vehicles and airtargets, with great traverse and elevation angles.

1 or 2 Prototypes were constructed and send by Büssing in the spring of 1943, after intesive tests, it was ordered to produce 1000 units beginning in October 1943, however befor the production started, it was decided to simplefy production and instead only concentrate on Sd.Kfz.234 vehicles to replace all other types. And instead some more Sd.Kfz.222 and 223 were also produced.

NOTE: It does NOT have a fuze, the filler is for self destruction, in game it would also explode upon impact when shattering, like the japanese 30mm Aphe.
