4.7 ground RB

Which make no sense given the points I made above.

They’re too strong at their current BR. That’s all there is to it.

they really arent, the jagdpanzer CAN be at range, but unlike the jagdpanzer l70, cant tank american 76s or russian 85s, while at the same time is using the 75l48, and is on a panzer 4 chassis, aka poor mobility (not like horrendous mobility, but its not good either) and the hetzer is just a noob trap, if youre struggling to fight one, thats a you problem. seeing anything with like 100 grams of explosive can overpressure the thing, atleast i am pretty sure, gotta double check seeing gaijin changed how overpressure pen works.

The Hetzer can very much so tank U.S. 76 and Russian 85. You keep talking about how “easily the hetzer is overpressured” however I have never seen such happen while playing it.

Even a player as bad as me can achieve a 2.4 K/D using it almost exclusively at 5.0.

There used to be talk about game performance dictating BRs but that seems to have given way to appeasing crying players. The IV and the Hetzer have weaknesses to exploit. Opposing players just need to increase their knowledge and play smart. Beyond that the change you mention would kill the German lineup in the 3.7 to 4.7 range. The Germans have good guns but no survivability against the KVs and even T 34s without the IV and the Hetzer.

Yes but your not leading with it at 5.0 You’re doing clean up long after the opposing players have 5.0’s and 4.7’s are gone.

Well I guess the BMPT is perfectly balanced and everyone fighting it just needs to get better.

False. Sometimes I do lead with it and sometimes I don’t.

  1. No it wouldn’t.
  2. It’s better that one BR for one nation is subpar, than one BR for every nation be unplayable due to an OP tank.

I run my AMX 13 against the German line up much higher than 4.3 and have no issues killing anything I find. I can do the same the thing with M 24s. As mentioned, the IV and the Hetzer are fine but have their drawbacks. The Hetzer for one is so slow the game might be decided before you get it into combat. And both have weaknesses that are exploitable beyond the lack of mobility and turret. If your going to sit and trade frontal shots with them they are tough unless you’re in a KV or a T 14 in which case you might end up taking tracks and barrels out to try and gain an advantage. That said you hit them low and its over. Lastly, if your leading with the Hetzer at 5.0 you’re not doing yourself or your team and favors. The IV maybe depending on the map but the go to should be the VK and then the KW that you pick up on sale.

Congrats. You’re a pro who can kill every enemy you see when playing rank 2.

seems to work pretty well.

In the MAIN TT what 4.7 do you see?

Oh wait… I missed the sarcasm. My apologies.

Lol it’s fine

one, i was talking about the jagdpanzer 4, that thing cant take a 76 or a 85, the 76 can pen about 1500m and the 85 its 1000 for the 365k and for 365, its over 2km, literally protection analysis shows a fully green hull upto 2km.

two, the hetzer is protected from the 76 and the 85, however only problem with this argument, i never said the armour couldnt protect you, i however did say that any HE can overpressure the thing if you can get the shell to the roof, good thing there isnt a massive piece of steel attacked to the roof in a very obvious spot… wait a minute…

and three, i said the thing is a noob trap, well an inverted noob trap, pretty much the thing can curb stomp bad players, and get curb stomped against good players, and well, warthunder is filled with bad players so its expected youre going to do well in the vehicle

It can with a lil angling.

Not a consistent enough shot to matter.

Curb stomp bad players, yes.

Curb stomped by good players, not really.

Or, you don’t give yourself enough credit and are really good with the Hetzer. Most often its not the vehicle that makes the player… Its the player that makes the vehicle.
