What makes the 30MM bushmaster takes so high a BR? The EFV at 9.3, the M1926 Dragoon st 9.7 and the CV9030 at 9.3 and the similar tanks.
At 9.7 you have the Beglitpanzer 57 which has a high ROF 57mm cannon and a TOW,
The BMD 4M is 9.7 I believe and the m3a3 Bradley is 9.7 at the same br as the m1926.
My suggestion is move the EFV to 8.7, the dragoon to 8.3
The CV9030 to 8.7 and put the BMD4M at 10.0
The bushmaster series of tanks without TOWS are terrible at 9.0+ and deserve better
I don’t get why people shit on the bushmaster so much, it works just fine even at range and is found on extremely mobile vehicles that can get to spawncamping the enemies in 2 minutes from round start. Though of course they are quite map dependent, but that’s not exactly a unique issue.
The Begleit is a disgustingly overpowered anti-everything vehicle that somehow has the survivability of a MBT and doesn’t have any business being below 10.0.
Because its bad. To start, its nearly universally a primary weapon. The chassis its on are universally large. While fast, they are also at a br where mbts are fast. So you are required to flank against maneuverable targets that often have few, if any, frontal weak points.
You have 114 pen apfsds at 200rpm (100 rpm for badger, RIP). At 9.3 thats awful. You previously had 2x 110 pen apds at 650rpm available on 2 AA that sat at 8.7. The 35mm and 40mm autocannons show up at 9.7 with a huge jump in pen and are still not strong. But the 40mms at least have prox.
The jump in capability of tanks in the 9.0 to 10.0 range is incredible. A lot of the advantages autocannons have are closed as lose frontal weakness to most autocannons. mbts are just as fast as autocannon carriers and tanks like the XM803 sport actually effective autocannons are their own.
Imo, the bagel is the only autocannon vehicle of the 9.0-9.7 range that is at its correct br. I’d drop all 30, 35mm, and 40mm autocannon-only chassis a br except for the xm800. That thing has both the outstanding size and speed that makes it an outlier.
Anything that has to relly on the 30mm bushwaner is automaticaly dogsht, i still dont get why they are adding more of them when they are just struggle busses
This is an interesting post to make right after spookston video on the dragoon… aside from jokes
I semi-agree for someone who the VBCI is the most played vehicle in the game (not because I especially like it but because it was my first prenium, that’s why my stat sucks on it)
NATO and the US haven’t received anything worthwhile in terms of ground forces in the last six months or a year. The US is constantly receiving unarmored, oversized, and poorly maneuverable light tanks. And all of this with a high Battle Rating.
The M10 Booker is an i credible light tank for 10.7, it could easily have been the best ground vehicle of the december update if it wasn’t for a certain Russian auto cannon vehicle releasing in the ssme update.
What’s the point of the M10? It’s slow and can’t outflank an enemy because of it. It doesn’t have the armor to drive forward. Even its shell is weak compared to other MBTs.
They have the much slower fire rate they have IRL compared to Russian cannons. But they use the EXACT SAME CODE. Meaning rather than being super accurate they have horrible accuracy. They are effectively massively nerfed Russian guns.
Pretty much every vehicle using them underperforms in game, a lot.
The PUMA sitting at 10.3 has absolutely atrocious stats by every metric. The PUMA VJTF even worse at 11.0. And other nations SPIKE/30MM slingers are doing almost as bad.
Because what Gaijin did is buff the accuracy of Russian auto cannons a bit. Then copy the exact same code over for NATO vehicles but nerf their fire rate. We’re not actually using Bushmasters or NATO auto cannons at all. We’re using Russian ones with a much slower fire rate. Which is absurd.
Before you bother getting into a discussion, the guy you’re talking to was arguing that the PUMA is more survivable than the BMPT in a different thread.
I hope the developers will fix the Bushmaster’s ballistic dispersion pattern as soon as possible. It’s strange that the 2A42, with its thinner barrel and higher rate of fire, has a narrower dispersion pattern than the Bushmaster… Is that how the physics of this game works…?
It’s not that slow, it’s only slower than the fast 10.7 MBTs like the Leo 2s/T-80B/M1 Abrams. It’s mobility is in line with or better than other MBTs like the T-80UD/Chally 1s etc.
M900 is NOT weak compared to 10.7 MBTs lmao, Only the 292 has better firepower at 10.7.
Either you misremember or you are straight up lying. I have only compared the Puma survivability to the CV9030s recently, which the Puma beats hands down.
Feel free to link where I compared the Puma and BMPT though, otherwise it’s a pretty void accusation.
