Firing on the move beyond combat speed which TOW missiles have, is not anymore powerful.
The missiles are just as powerful as TOWs, and the gun is just as weak as all the other non-Strf 9040 guns.
The BMP-2M’s 2A42 Autocannon is not a weak gun and firing missiles at your top speed while rounding corners and shredding everything in sight is a much stronger ability than sitting in place for 6 seconds while a launcher deploys.

At full speed missing all of them, then getting yeeted by me in my M1 Abrams, or M60.

you’re not taking into account Close quarters here. being able to instantly fire a missile after rounding a corner can VERY much save you compared to having to slam the brakes and then wait 3 seconds before the launcher is up and ready to fire.
on large long range maps, it absolutely makes very little difference. but as soon as you get within 2-300m then being able to fire on the move is a life or death ability to have.
You mean fire a missile into the side of a building or passing by the turret due to being too close?
Common things when BMP-2s tried to do that to me 2+ years back.

There’s nothing anecdotal about the missiles being mounted on the sides of turrets.
Which means they go into buildings or miss the tank entirely unless you intentionally move your gun off target.
Which I shoot first anyway since it takes you more time to correct NOT aiming center mass than it does for anyone else to just aim center mass…

being able to hit or not is irrelevant as that changes with player skill thus not being something that makes a vehicle inherently better or worse than another.
that is a “skill issue”, which doesnt means the vehicle is incapable, it just required more time to practice
Aiming center mass is the skill, and no one should do otherwise.
Aiming off center mass should never ever be the default, as that will cause skill issues in other vehicles.
No matter how much you practice aiming center mass will ALWAYS be faster than those aiming center mass then correcting to aim off your turret.
BMP-2M is worse than all MBTs at 10.0 and always will be, all IFVs are.
well, you could still prevent this from happening, considering that you are playing such vehicle that require you to aim a little bit left than aim directly ahead, you would do so.
What makes BMP2M better is that the vehicle allows you to fire while moving. Surely it wont match any MBTs but it is still one of the good IFVs
All the 10.0 IFVs are “good”. None of them are notably more powerful than any other at the BR.

BMP-2M is only talked about cause it’s a squadron vehicle so more people have it.
Annoyance by volume is 100% of the complaints people have about these things.
